• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

What did you do to your Car today?

Yes they are moog.... clearly stamped and marked. Precision used to make our ujoints but were bought out by moog and the quality seemed to have gone down hill. Just cus they are made in usa doesnt meen anything. China has factorys in the us . In fact the government is selling them land to make more so that its cheaper for us. Ya most these parts come from platforms like dodge and yea i agree is **** (speed wobble derp) but that has nothing to do with the measurements being clearly off.

Moog actually isn't a company by the way. It's just a brand, and has been for quite some time.

It's Federal-Mogul.

I don't know what to say about the parts being off. In what sense are they off? Longer outer tie rods? Because that really doesn't matter. The size of the stud, thread on the internal section etc all matter, but I've never seen that be off.

Anyone who buys U joints has never once complained about the quality of the pieces. And those are notorious for having a terribly transcoded parts catalog. All of the issues I've faced have been catalog issues.

How long have you been doing this? I'm curious because I still don't really understand how your store can do the volume to see this number of defective parts.

hit 140k..
it was a bittersweet moment, that my car is getting old, but i had finally cracked the 60kmile mark of gtp goodness

(sorry about blurryness, was driving)

i also put my switchbacks, back in..

Yea there are plenty of catalog issues, that im aware of. And you dont think a parts store does the volume to see defective parts? Its a parts store..... they are cheap parts made for the general public.... i work 60 hour weeks at a store that bring in anywhere from 5-10k a day. And as far as the parts being off im not a retard, i know how parts work and fit. Again ive mostly seen this in ball joints popping out and have seen it for myself. The shaft diameter is less than it should be thus causing it to pop out and other brand fitting perfectly fine. I dont understand why your backing up moog so much anyway....... you clearly just want to argue. Im stating facts i have seen about a( im sorry brand) that i have seen in the few years ive worked selling parts and the 10+ years exp my coworkers have and have told me about aswell.

I went to oriely to get rear end links and they had 1 at my normal store and more at another across town. So I paid for them both (moog) and went to the other store to get the other one (moog) both were stamped moog same box, same plastic wrap, part number, same length, same nuts, but one of them was clearly way better, thicker, and the rubber bushing were bigger.(needless to say i gave him the one from the other stare and asked him for two of those better links and put them on my '98.
Some times parts are just junk due to poor quality control at the factory. I have seen all kinds of stupid messed up parts of every brand.

Does anyone know of any coupon codes for ZZP? I searched and couldn't find any. I emailed asking but wasn't sure if I'd get a reply.

Car was fixed, drove it back home. Loose relay was preventing fuel pump from getting full power. Also cam sensor relearn was performed.
