• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

What did you do to your Car today?

So turns out compressed air + forgetting to take the bulb out of the headlight while trying to get moisture out was a bad idea. lol thats why i keep spare parts around.

Started trying to take my tips out and after about 3 hours of hammering and turning, finally gave in and will have to pay a garage to do it. As you can see in the photos, I didn't have must rust and actually the tips would move back and forth with ease but only managed to get them to move out a 1/4 inch. Funny thing is, the mechanic will probably get them off in less that a minute and charge me more than $50 dollars.

Looks like those new headlight lenses are getting moisture in them. It's probably the seals on the bulb holder, that was the problem with mine.

Yea the corner lenses are. They are actually leaking from the back corner. I tried to take them apart and reseal with the same leak spot. So i'm searching for some clear or oe ones to lightly smoke them.

On mine i cut the clamp off and cut the tip and the pipe right at the expansion slot. Pulled out extra that was in the muffler easily and inserted 2.25" pipe and welded back together with new tips.

yesterday , changed front pads and rotors on the wife's Durango. Changed tail light bulb on neighbors Impala.
Put air in my tires and gas in my car, 25.5 mpg, 80% highway at 75-80 mph.

Went to give it one more try but this time with 3lb. sledge I bought. Got them both off in less that a half hour and now I am just waiting to get my new tips in.

Today, I'm trying to fix my sunroof, for some reason it isn't getting any power and I'm trying to figure out why my windows only roll down with the headlights on *sigh*
