• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

What did you do to your Car today?

Yeah it would be nice, I've been hearing about people having problems with many aftermarket axles though. I'm now jobless so I'd like to save some money where I can, and if I can get the new boot on and it lasts the rest of the time I own the car, I'll be happy. Plus not having a job, I have plenty of free time, so if I have to spend more time than most would, I don't mind.

Warranted? It's an oem axle, I'd have to spend $50 is I was going to get a new axle.

Opps figured it was a replacement from advance or sumthing

Flipped dog bones and new lower engine and trans mounts on the regal. Much better! Took about an hour total. Not bad.

Bunch of stuff. Tied up some things that I needed to do. Using huge oil cooler for transmission cooler.

Is that a remote transmission filter as well? I have all the hardware to put one on my car, but I can't find an easy place to get to the filter. Looks similar to the set up I used on my truck, you can see the top of the filter mount down on the frame:

Yes its the b&m remote trans filter kit. I made a L bracket that attaches to the back of the bumper support and it holds pretty much where u see it in the pic on 04+ its a 15second job to get the headlight out and you have all the room you need to reach down in the fender well area. Can't speak on a good location for the 97-03 guys though

I replaced the right rear hard brake line on the 98 GTP. It was rusted pretty bad and leaking.
its a good idea to check them once in a while. The right rear line runs from the left side by the fuel filter over the rear cross member to the caliper. The other lines are not nearly as rusted, maybe because they are out in a more open area. This 98 is so sad. I has a great motor & trans, the interior is almost perfect, every thing works as it should but the body is so badly rusted and the only panel without a dent is the trunk lid. It will probably end up an organ donor next spring.

Passed an 04+ gt and comp g that were in front of me in the way to work they were just driving to slow but it was weird to randomly be riding 3 deep in grand prixs

Well, Saturday I fixed the evap solenoid

And got the brake lights updated to spray tinted LED's

I like the look at night, but in the day it's growing on me...

Will be going to school soon....

But you guys know this stuff right? lol I thought I was right, apparently not.

A classic trick question. LOL

Tell me about that "Check Engine Light."
The service industry calls the Check Engine light on your dash an "MIL" or Malfunction Indicator Light.

This makes it officially a racekar right?

Thoughts?

Nope, stickers have to be on the REAR window for improved performance. On the front they yield lower performance due to the wind not able to flow smoothly over the front windshield. The sticker breaks of the airflow.

Hahahaha
