• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

What did you do to your Car today?

ON partial throttle, going up hill, from a stop, basically just enough to be in boost or a bit more, I have up to 2.2* of KR. I don't feel anything difference as the KR changes, acceleration is nice and smooth. I'm running 91 octane with no ethanol which is the best I can get in my area. I'm thinking it might be false KR, what do you guys think?

Maybe false, maybe not, the car is not fully in PE mode so its likely running in the upper 12's for AFR and being at just part throttle acceleration having a few degrees of KR is not abnormal.

I wish I could monitor my AFR, but my torquepro wont show it on my car. It does on my friends, but not mine. I don't have a secondary 02 though, could that be the cause? It's a 2000, so I thought it wouldn't matter.

2000's dont care about the rear o2, but thats not the point. I am saying that whats going on is pretty much normal.

Because you in a part throttle situation with going up hill the car is just working harder to get to the speed, add in the fact that it running a leaner AFR its going to see a little bit of KR. There are more factors than just this. You also arent even in very much boost if any so there is no damaged that can really be done to the pistons.

And those silly phone apps wont tell you real time Air to Fuel ratio's, just the computers commanded afr for the given moment and even then I will never trust a phone to read me live data.

I gotcha, and I agree, it can't update live data, there has to be some lag and missed readings. It's enough to give me a good idea how it's running and such, monitor the trans temp, check for major misfires, clear that damn 02 code when it pops up (I'll get a tune eventually and have the code deleted), etc. For $13, it can't be beat really.

Sounds like it's running like it should, then. Now I can move on to suspension, ugh.

Took it to Daytona Beach for the weekend, let my girl drive the car for the 1st time, and was impressed to see the fact that I didnt burn too much gas coming back home earlier.Filled up before i left there and 3 and half hr trip burned only one line before half a tank averaging 75mph. Looks like Daytona has better gas then my area.

Where about? I'm a stones throw from reymeyer Harley and wyotech

Lots of stuff...

Removed cone filter and blew it out and re-tightened all the clamps.

Washed and scrubbed the whole car and did the best under body I could with car on the ground.

Power washed the trunk mat. Which was a mistake because now that I see how clean it is, I want to do the whole interior carpet.

Polished exhaust tips.

Tucked exhaust tips a bit further up into the fascia, now I'm happy.

Swept interior out.

Treated seats to Leather Stuff.

Washed windows.

Cleaned interior panels.

Took it on a test drive and beat the sh*t out of it with the new cat, so far so good.

Not a bad day.

i did it to my regal radio, its fairly easy. you need to solder a few connections. not kidding, the parts list is less then 5 bucks if you have shrink tubes, solder and a iron already.

rather simple mod,it was more scary tearing the radio apart with the fear of breaking something on it. parts were less than $5 and it works perfectly. I wanted to change the light bulb behind the display while it was out but couldn't find a replacement bulb. thinking about putting an LED back there and never worrying about it again.

Replaced a strut, finally installed bump stops, and got the lip a little more level. This weekend I may try to go a little lower by lowering the Koni inserts and do and overdue oil change.
