• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Hi. My fiancée has this code on her 2005 sunfire

It's the upstream o2 sensor.

Is it safe to drive till I find the oem o2 sensor for her car?

I don't know much about those motors, but the upstream sensor usually determines fueling/timing and a bad sensor will throw those off, which you don't want to do for too long. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

If you can, monitor that sensors voltage. It should fluctuate almost up to 1, and almost down to 0, I believe. When my o2 went out, it was just the o2s heater that's inside it. Readings were fine.

one bottle to a tank.Ive been doing it for the past 3 fillups tho.lol.It was my bandaid fix untill my hp tuner came in.My plugs and o2 were a light orange. :)

Im pretty shure it was from me putting around town too much.It shure did take away my 3* of kr tho at wot.

Gave my GP an oil change, new air filter and added more coolant (freakin leak) and a wash. I also got to finally drive it since the bf has been using it to go to work since its better on gas unlike his truck lol. And realized it needs to have the dash lights replaced cause once you got over 60 you have no idea how fast you are going
