• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Want to lower your car? Look in here!!

Springfield mo rr crossings
He has SOME strut travel left...not much.

Stock struts have 7.25" of strut travel - 1" for bump stops - 5" = 1.25" of strut travel left.

1.25" of strut travel on stock struts with soft springs, you have to be hitting some bump stops.

Cause when it comes to wrenching and fabrication im a mad scientist but when it comes to computers im a drunk caveman with a club ;) my friends load them for me but i havnt seen them n a while

There's nothing intellectual about cutting your springs. Now if you lowered your shock and rewelded it in the perch and than made custom mounts to lower it more without affecting strut travel and spring travel then that would be an awesome build

Not sure the link a pic is on one of the last posts on how how to lower a 1st gen w body sticky like i sed not good wit conputers :)

Is that a skull plate and GTP badges?

Awesome.

And G35 wheels? Bet you can't have an open lid drink in that car...can ya?

In the process of swapping to 3.8 sc emblems r jus motivation :) its on tsw 18s now painted the tag myself ive done a LOT to it since this pic actually rides prety good and along with the z34 sway bars and gen 2 rear discs it corners like a mf :)

So I looked and I didn't really find much info on my question. I'm still having vibration problems when driving around and I already have the Vinnie spacers. I know my motor mounts are probably shot but has anyone ever had the spacers and shorter dogbones at the same time?

I was just gonna cut up my stock ones and not spend anything on them. Im just really looking for a quick fix right now since school is back in.

No need for cutting you can drill your stock dog bones and grind them on the back that way you have a option to go back.

I did it to my old sets just in case.

So im looking at lowering. i was looking at the coils thru zzp. But then i was just looking at eibachs. now a few people say eibachs ride a lot harder than coils and vice versa. Id like to hear opinions

1) don't buy from ZZP. they are a second hand dealer for these coils:

W-Body Products |

buy from there.

2) eibachs are the only progressive lowering spring for the wbody. they are not harsh. i had them.

3) coils will automatically ride better than all lowering springs so long as they are spec'd correctly (correct strut valving, spring rate, strut shaft stroke, etc.).
