The Official what you need and how-to for CTS-V brakes

You must use the stock factory rear CTS-V rotor 365mm or 14.37" have the bolt holes slotted to 115mm and machine out the center bore to be able to make it all fit. The spindle needs a slight clearancing at the contact point due to positioning of the brackets. I will be installing the setup this week and keep you posted. No price for the bracket as of yet since mine is the only one machined for now. Should know in the next 2 weeks on price

Like I mentioned this is a prototype right now.They are made of billet steel but will be changing it to billet aluminum for the final version and the ones for sale. With the caliper and spindle both made of aluminum I think there will be a difference in expansion and contraction rates so the final part will be aluminum.
 
Looking good...and yes you def want to make it out of billet aluminum

Also looks like you arent using the e-brake either, have you figured something out for this? I dont care to use it either way just might be for some people though
 
No not yet...right now my focus has been on just getting the brackets machined and mounted. May look into it here very soon
 
Ya for me it doesnt matter.. i dont use my ebrake so i wasnt going to utilize it either when me and Lecram were doing research and mock ups for the bracket. Also noticed you hve like 4-5 washers on that top bolt... any reason? Or just to long of a bolt?

Gotcha man thats what i figured... also how much material needs to be shaved off the knuckle where the contact points are?
 
Got the brakes in the rear all sorted out, no parking brake grrrr.....but picking up the stainless steel braided brake likes tomorrow for the front and all thats left is to bleed the brakes, :th_winking:. will get pics posted up tomorrow of the whole setup
 


I'm thinking of making more brackets for thoes that want to have the rears work. The final version will be machined from billet aluminum so all expansion and contractions issues will work on the aluminum calipers and aluminum knuckles
