Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

that sounds about right, payback for all the hard times LOL

looks like he's making a career now outta fixing up cars.. gotta pay the bills

No that was his career until some ahole crashed into him and screwed up his back. He's just helping out at family friends place right now.

Ok, over the past couple of days, the engine has been tore down to remove a stuck/damaged lifter. The cam was scored by the lifters but it polished up pretty well with some emory cloth. It's almost done being reassembled with only minor things left to hook up and do. I need to basically change the oil, splice the wiring for the Bonnie alternator, install the belts and battery, route the fuel pump rewire, and fill with coolant. The coolant will wait until I hear it run and am satisfied with how it runs. If all else, it comes back apart and a new-to-me block will go in. Sorry, still no pictures, but who cares about having to tear down a build to repair and rebuild anyway?

The engine bay hasn't looked stock since the build commenced. LOL The Bonnie alternator is HUGE compared to the stock one, and my dad helped fab a bracket for the bracing there too. Once she's back together, there will be pics. I promise. :D

Once you put the engine harness back in, the intercooler doesn't stick out much anymore.

Especially if you use coolant rated hose.
