• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

those valves are fine, just tap them back to straight and toss em back in lol.

are you taking that l36 block too for when your piston finish themselves off?

Looks like a 97-99 SE. Things you may want to keep:
- PCM box. Cool thing that could be added into our cars for a cleaner look. You know Brian will jump on that idea, and it'll keep you from polishing his pcm.
- The relays on the firewall, pull them and the 10 gauge that runs to the fans etc. Great weatherproof relays for things like IC's etc etc. How can you beat it when they already have 8 feet of 10 gauge?
- Obvious stuff - engine/trans/starter blah blah blah.

Then look around at all the room. Ain't Bonne's great!

Looking forward to Anna back on her feet.

Bill, you are absolutely correct. It is a 1999 SE. The engine itself ran decent, but the car has higher mileage than any of the other L36's I have at my disposal so this one will just be extra weight for the crusher. I'll pull a bunch of random stuff off of it, although I'm not sure how much I'll use. That big Bonnie alternator is finding itself a new home since my built alternator is dead and my spare had a stripped bolt hole. It also appears to be a direct bolt on for the 97/98 alternator bracket. Just solder the new pigtail and away you go. Plus, it's just big. Can't go wrong with that!

I was certainly in awe of the amount of room under the hood. I could throw a party in there and invite all my friends and hire a DJ. Of course, I have no friends meaning no one would show up, so it'd be a pretty lonely party. LOL

I had all the mods and tons of room. Never worried about hood clearance with a 2.25" IC etc. Huge room for an FMHE or three up there in front. Room to mount pumps, turbos etc etc. It's all good and ... pull the charcoal canister. You'll see the Bonne FTMFW hole for a 6" FWI.

Make sure you grab those relays and the wiring. That's worth it all by itself. EWP/IC pump/anything.

Boring update...got my heads all back together after lapping the "new" valves in. I had the heads off of the Bonnie pretty quickly, pulled the valves, and threw everything I wasn't saving back in the trunk. I picked up my head gaskets today, but I'm waiting for the head studs which should arrive early next week. So, I continued work on my sub box...BTW, 36" wide box will barely fit between the rear strut towers...and by this I mean I install the sub box with a 56 oz rubber dead blow mallet. So not only do I have my rear strut tower brace, but my sub box will also brace everything, too. :D No fun pics today...sorry guys.
