Spartan GL's Build Thread: (09-21-14) New photos!

Re: Spartan GL's (01/10/12) PG 21 for Paint Status photos

I'm assuming that its the light but what is up with your rear passenger door?

no... your spot on my brother backed into that door with his 40th Ann GTP before i deployed to Iraq. What is not pictured is the brand new door being worked on on the stand behind the car.

These are teaser photos only more photos to follow later tonight STAY TUNED.

better have gotten the 8-rib setup too, and a wide belt...cause I loved mine...make it look much better/beefier. Plus the belt held up much better.

yeah thinking about it i'd need a few more pulleys and what about supercharger pulley?or would a 8 Rib belt fit onto the ZZP pulley?

zzp pulley is already 8 ribs. you need the idlers/tensioner to complete it. do it.

What's all over your heads?

no effing idea, it appears to be copper RTV (not sure, i didnt do it) i didnt really look at them too much. took the stock heads off and tossed em aside. not being used in this build.

ALSO if anyone has any Input on ABSOLUTE MUST BE DONE by the machine shop whiles it there to the heads/block/pistons etc that they arent already doing

i know of the balancer shaft alittle bit but more info on anything would be helpful to the build.

also on a lighter note JE Pistons are lightweight as ****!

Why doenst that paint shop pull the rocker and door cladding? Esp when the entire car is getting painted?
Also why not pull the door ding molding and smooth the bumpers?

You might as well do all of the oiling mods to the block while it's apart. I have no idea what they are though lol
