• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

replacement bose

I enjoy the performance of my Bose system. Has anyone experienced problems mixing new components with their Bose systems? If you are interested, you can purchase new Bose speakers for your car from Bose - just call customer service. You must know your speaker number.

todaay i finished it all, 4in's are in and sounding good, and my back seats are finally back in
thanks guys for all the help

I think all my audio stuff is good for a while, unless i decide to get a subwoofer. Now i can look into performance mods! Also my windows are getting tinted on wednesday!
Also i get my license that day, and its my last week of school. I must say, this is a good week for me.

tint, speakers dont matter really. but where you installed them will determine how they sound, and that can be read from a picture, but you installed in stock locations so dont bother :p

haha technically my car is rice right now, i have a new stereo, tint, and rear PONTIAC inlays
but im only 16 i dont need to be going that fast anyways

top swap. you can rip one off a car in a couple hours, then you know how it all goes back together.

Speeeeeeeeeeeeed. :D

my car is more rice: no catback (sounds like rice) tinted tails + rear inlay + ghetto speakers (dont ask) = rice on wheels.

Oh and it doesnt run now. :)

Nice topic, i was recently changing my 4"inches on the back. and actually they are 3.5, which i dremel'd to make fit. But my sound actually still sux, for some reason i only her one side in the rear, and loudness is gone, i have to crank up to max to listen it decently loud :(. Could that be amp or its ohms of the speakers? I would like to know what is factory amps impedance, because for speakers is 4 ohms.
