regal top swapped problems

Ok...personally having dealt with top swap tuning and crap, I can tell you that your tune is junk and is the reason for most of your problems. Before a retune, make positively sure that you have no vacuum leaks as the new tune will be affected by it. Then, listen to whatever Bill tells you and get help from whomever he is sending you to as Bill won't steer you wrong.

The tune you have is fine. Zzp has done a top swap before.

This is one of the things that really grinds my gears on here, 2 different people will post that something is either junk or good without either person stating why/how they know.......And saying that ZZP has done a top swap is before is not really a reason. Sven how do you know that the tune is junk? You aren't driving his car, you haven't looked at a bin of his tune so without doing either you have no real way of telling this. DH pretty much what I just told Sven...
/end rant

On a side note, since your car is a 97 a lot of your readings are going to be backwards or negative numbers since your car is a 97, my 97 GTP showed a lot of stuff in negative numbers.

Um no it sounds like its about to die and then it reva to the idle rpm. Like it has a vac leak or the maf is about to go out. Because now im recieving aa long start once sitting for while. Also it hesitates sometimes when starting again like its going to die out and then it revs and goes to idle. You can hear in the engine when you try to start it how the idle sounds like it wants to die but doesnt.

Check your fuel pressure regulator. Mine would be a huge pain to start when it sat for a day or so, sometimes it would flood itself out, then I replaced the fuel pressure regulator and it started and ran fine afterwards.

i know you've tried this and that. but have you tried to unplug the maf, then start it? if it runs better the maf is super dirty or bad.

or the wires to the maf could be damaged from heat over the years.

just another shot in the dark not being there with it of course.

Yeah with my maf unplugged my car runs like poopy lol. Barely stays started and dies really quickly with it unplugged. Its a remanufactured one by gm has the sticker on it and everything. As for the fuel pressure regulator ive unplugged it and let run while i watched for gas to spew but no dice

L67, you cant run l36 injectors they are to short or fat. Something like that. But my tune from zzp asked what injectors were in it and i put l67 injectors so

Idk that seems like a vac leak soo bad dude. My explorer used to do the same thing and turned out to be a vac leak. But ive replaced all hosing, and sprayed for leaks. I'm going to replace the wires again. What should i get because acdelco isnt working for me. Coulda got a bad set of wires?

Maybe some pics of your engine bay so we can see how you have the lines run anything outta the ordinary..it sounds like a big vac leak..is the sc torqued down, egr piple ok? They leak all the time?

Yeah my dad used the torque wrench on the heads, lim, supercharger ect. All to specs using the torque specs page on regalgs forum. As for egr stove pipe. It went on fine i didnt bend it all out of wack when doing the swap. As for pictures will do coming shortly

Yes i do its under the mess of wires next to the cylinder which i think is what your talking about, and ive already unplugged the map sensor... does absolutely nothing

it looks like your missing a vac line to the bbv. unless its looped in a way i cant see it.

this one in my pic goes from the snout to the fpr to the bbv. other side of my snout T goes to the map sensor.
