Red 2006 Grand Prix GT Supercharged

Re: Red 2006 Grand Prix GT Supercharged - FSIC & Coilovers Coming Soon!

I think I am going to stop by and give him some sh*t and maybe tease you fellas:th_nanana:

Re: Red 2006 Grand Prix GT Supercharged - FSIC & Coilovers Coming Soon!

It's $180 according to their website. Yikes.

Exactly, a ZZP stg 3 is $230 vs. $180 and is 10% smaller core. Im pretty sure even WBS is just modifiying frozenboost cores for wbodys now too. The core in their pics looks identical to my frozen boost but with a few extra tabs welded on.

Re: Red 2006 Grand Prix GT Supercharged - FSIC & Coilovers Coming Soon!

Soo, it's not done, got a good portion done though. We would have kept going a little further, but we broke an aluminum elbow putting the alternator bracket back on and figured well just get it tomorrow n finish. First off, the bumper bolts were all rusted n a pain to get off. Never knew it'd take that long removing a bumper. Brian had the electrical connections n supercharger off by time I got that removed finally. Tore it down to the lim, and then we took lunch n a trip to harbor freight then Lowes to get some longer bolts for the heat exchanger. Mounted the heat exchanger and plugged in the fittings then put the modded lim on, ic core, supercharger, fuel logs, turndown, most harnesses back on, then broke the elbow. I'll take more pictures tomorrow but I have a few now.

Yeah, we might not have gotten as far as we wanted to be, but we didn't run into many major problems. Besides the bolts being short, bumper bolts rusted, and elbow breaking, it went pretty smooth. Should be plenty good for tomorrow and tightening everything up. Also didn't get a chance to paint the supercharger but oh well. I'll take some more pics tomorrow n probably a video.

Re: Red 2006 Grand Prix GT Supercharged - FSIC & Coilovers Coming Soon!

For the same reason he decided to leave that eyesore of a unpainted sc alone

Re: Red 2006 Grand Prix GT Supercharged - FSIC & Coilovers Coming Soon!

Lol definitely prob won't have time, maybe another weekend here once it gets warmer n can be done at my house.

Re: Red 2006 Grand Prix GT Supercharged - FSIC & Coilovers Coming Soon!

With it torn down that far it's literally a 1hr job.....that's it

Re: Red 2006 Grand Prix GT Supercharged - FSIC & Coilovers Coming Soon!

Em how long does it take to paint a sc.. Not long... nice try guy.. you go the fuel log route vs the modify rails because it looks cooler I believe but then defeats the purpose when you put that unpainted mess back on...

Re: Red 2006 Grand Prix GT Supercharged - FSIC & Coilovers Coming Soon!

^ This!... I'd expected better from you putting that ugly thing back on! That's just as bad as having red wire loom all over your engine bay!:o
