You would have been better off IMO to prime and paint and clear. But let the clear set overnight before polish. I find it gives me the best results and hardens up so the polish takes.

haha it's all good, no big difference though.
Yeah I primed it of course, I don't think I put that in there though. I need to go spend some money on some meguiers good stuff.

yeah prime is fine, or not its a prepainted surface, im saying before polishing/compound, should let the clear set up more it can be super soft for 24hrs.

Yeahh, ill take a pic n put it on here..its not pretty though. I dont like the view from 5he back with it..its like an inch or si..but with the tabs it just needs to be done the right way.
Haha I had to..what did you have to cut n fix cuz this doesnt go in right..the round thing is at the top n shoukd be at the bottom of the top clip..just break that off?

heres some pics..gotta hook my boost gauge up still..thought it was more important to get my pulley on!
Wasn't as hard as I thought it'd be..just patience n reading directions if you've never done it lol.

New on! I put it on those ribs I'm pretty sure, didn't check to see exactly..
heres the gap of the roof rails per request..not horrible but still a little eyesore.

Thought I'ld tune into the Red Prix channel to see was up.....Holy snot....
More goodies to keep the other goodies company.
The pulley wasn't bad I'll bet, just kinda what and when then it pops and its off.
You know at the right angle the rails are perfect....It must be with the clear like Mad Monkey said.
should be all good with the spoiler if you mount the old and allow the repaint and clear to dry a day between coats.....then 2000 and recoat

Haha gotta keep spazzz entertained here now! Lol n yeah when I have some down time I need the clear to cure then buff..I have crappy turtle wax compound n that sh!t is harsh! Im positive it scratched the clear a lot. I only wetsanded once too..are you supposed to wetsand the clear too?

I wetsanded 2500 in between each of my VHT/clear, then final 2500 and polish. Sanding lightly, hardly any pressure in lines....no circles.
Get some Meguiars Ultimate compound and Ultimate polish, it's good to have around.
