Red 2006 Grand Prix GT Supercharged

Re: Red 2006 Grand Prix GT Supercharged Retrofit En Route(Lowered, Rims & Aeroforce)

yeah my morimoto mini's touch the front clear cover
Yeah thats why i think im gonna cut the holes bigger so they sit back n the shrouds touch the lens. Hide all the jb weld and look cleaner and I could keep the chrome that way. If I dont run into problems that way that is.
That looks like the rubber butyl..but is it just higher grade like classy pontiac just posted?

Cut the hole bigger if you want the projector and shroud to sit closer to the reflector.
Okay gotcha, that answered my question n I think itd hide everything better for the chrome that way. Ill mess with it when I can n make sure. Thanks.

Yeah thats a good way to seal it def for sure. I might look into it just to be positive it seals the first time. Thank you sir

Re: Red 2006 Grand Prix GT Supercharged Retrofit En Route(Lowered, Rims & Aeroforce)

Did you clean the old stuff off first. When I do mine I would rather use the caulk type adhesive. Seems to be a much quicker failsafe bond.

I just took off the extra compound off the clear lens and just left the rest in the black housing. And then I just used the caulk window weld and to be honest I couldnt be happier!

Went n cut out with a hole saw. Traced through the projector housing n just cut it till the projector could clear with a little wiggle room!

cant figure out how to tie in my hi beam splitters tho. I hooked them from my projectors into the black and blue but for the black male splitters I don't see how them can hook up into my hi beams?

Why do you need a splitter?
I haven't done any but I thought it was projector hid bulb to normal light lead
and the leads for the shield were plugged into the high beam lead plug.
You'll get it!!

Re: Red 2006 Grand Prix GT Supercharged Retrofit En Route(Lowered, Rims & Aeroforce)

Yup what's the need for the splitter for?

He's testing us

Re: Red 2006 Grand Prix GT Supercharged Retrofit En Route(Lowered, Rims & Aeroforce)

The projectors are lows and highs n you need the hi beam splitters for that to be possible. If I cant figure it out for now it doesn't matter. I never use my hi beams nor am I in the country too much to even use em lol. But just figured since I got it, if I could hook them up its be better

Trs said I needed them for my highs!! If I dont need them than good, ik how to hook it all up then haha. but then what does the red n black wires from the projector hook up to? Im pm'ing someone n they said it goes to the hi beam splitters like in the picture n then idk where the rest goes..
