• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

PS4

I run on a mix of high settings n some medium at 1080p with stable FPS. 560ti, 4gb DDR2 (LOL!) ram, 3.0 GHZ AMD Phenom Quad core. Not at all the latest tech and still running the game just dandy.... BF3 that is.

Dude ik....Holding me back SOOOO bad. I need to upgrade my mobo tho, make sure its compatible with everthing, and get some DDR3 or better ram, around 8 gigs.

I think my biggest issue with consoles is that they are made for the masses. They are designed to be 'everything you could ask for' but end up as 'a bunch of **** you don't like or want, but get stuck with'

Like the always online BS, and used game function.

PC will always be ahead of Consoles in computer power and technology. Consoles have their gimmicks ( Eye, Kinect). And you don't have to have "TOP OF THE LINE HARDWARE EVERY SINGLE YEAR" to play games. That's just ignorant.

I'm leaning as of now to the new xbox as the dualshock design hurts my hands after extended use. I also am terrible with the thumbsticks.

However, I may jump to PC if games keep adding gamepad support by default. I'm done with trying to play with button mapping software.

Just gotta figure out a comfy yet still functional way to combine my desk and couch into one...(retaining the reclining feature is a must)

once you get use to the mouse n keyboard gamepads feel inferior. Took me a while to convert. And Some people say that about the ps3 controller but that hasn't occured to me. I will say that xbox 360 controller thumb sticks felt better, other than that i didnt care for the differences.

I have tried with the keyboard and mouse. Its okay, and doesn't hurt. I just don't see how I'm going to use them while leaning back on the couch. I also did better in games where I forced the gamepad use compared to using the mouse (when the mapping software actually worked). Except for sniping in COD 2. Mouse made that exponentially easier.

Another thing though that nobody has brought up is that PC doesn't do splitscreen gameplay. Kinda a deal breaker as then I can't have some friends over and fire up a 4 player co op of COD zombies. Which is surprisingly more fun when you're all in the same room.

yes you do. if you want to continue to run new games at the highest settings you need to continue to upgrade
hmm... Asrock extreme 3 z77, i5 3570k, 16g ddr3 2133, only thing needing upgrade is my gcard that currently runs every game i play at max settings with 150+ fps all at the same time.

Whats console have again?

Not to mention controller highly restricts your gameplay.

ill pass on the gaming pc, yes they can be upgraded to run better graphics down the line blah blah blah, i dont want to sit at my desk, dont want to use a keyboard to game, and i want to KNOW every game i buy will work when i get it home

All pcs now hook up to tvs with hdmi.. and Xbox 360 controllerhooked up and runs automatically no setup required..so no excuses lol
and if you know your computer you should know what games you can run before you buy them

stop talking about PC gaming. this **** is about the PS4.

i didn't watch any of E3 and haven't found/read and specs or releases. is there a list of these things that someone can link me to so i can read it today while i'm at work.

i'll always be a playstation fanboy so i'm not overly concerned about sexbox.
