Went to the fair last night to watch a buddy on the truck pull. It was fun since I have never seen one before. He pulls with a 70 El Camino. I have pics of his truck at home I can post this weekend maybe. He broke a SC belt and only pulled to around 260' I was more excited about my 3yr old being as excited as he was to watch the pull. There is nothing better in life than seeing your childs pure joy.

Good *burp* morning faceboo- I mean GPF'ers. Its too dam early. Boss took a vacation day so I get to open shop, got to be here an hour ago to prep everything for the day. No breaks, no lunch stop (unless GF brings me food, I can't leave) and won't leave til 5:30. yay me :th_depressed:

But on a happy note, UPS should have my headers to me this afternoon so I'm looking forward to that :th_biggrin2:

what the ****, kids? if you can't afford to play with the big boys then don't try. my coilovers are gonna be a $2000 investment when i'm done. get at me, bro.

and i'm not going to extremes. i'm just going to have a very, very nice set of coilovers when i'm done. vogtland shock bodies (KW, really), hyperco springs, and RCE camber plates. mostly all premium parts. and i am getting screaming deals on all of it so i'll have a much better set of coilovers than most people will ever dream of having. yayaya.

Yeah, I've got about $1500 in the suspension on my Stealth between the coilovers, rear control arms, rear toe arms, etc.

My opinion though, don't drop $1000 on suspension for a Grand Prix. Its still going to be a heavy FWD boat.

that was a quote from some dude on facebook. if you're not willing to drop >$1000 on coilovers then you shouldn't buy coilovers.

Ahh, ok. Yeah I paid $900 for my coilovers and never had any issues out of them. They are Megan Racing. The car handles excellent and I convinced several others to get them and they love theirs. Some have even switched from more expensive coilovers (ie Tein) to the Megans and won't go back.

As with anything in the auto-motive world... you get what you pay for. (Bio's "extreme deals" don't count) Quality Costs $$$
