somebody should be nice and post pictures of the vacuum lines going in and around the supercharger. the brake booster line won't fit on the T on top of the case. i need to know where to run the wires for the MAP sensor, and how to set up the BBV. thanks in advance

especially for as much money and time as he threw at the damn thing. he could have put 3400 heads on it and turbo'd it, or done the L67 swap by the time it was all said and done

it's still the sexiest beretta i've ever seen lol. i hope he breaks into the 14's when he finally tracks it. he thought it would run low 14's till i took him for a ride in the firebird lol

That car is beautiful... I enjoyed working on it for sure... Too bad u dont live closer. That blower could use a nice port n polish by yours truley. :-) Just did mine... Looks serious. LOL

it's been machine ported :) i know a guy that knows a guy kinda thing lol. coulda gone a little wider but it should flow pretty well. the picture does no justice to how well the blower turned out. gloss black, and the ridges on top were done with the color of the car.

i love fieros so much dude. i'll have one someday. shoulda looked for one for a DD with better gas milage than an LT1. but i still get better gas milage in the LT1 than i did in the grand prix for some reason

i might take you up on that man lol. i got the downpipe/cat/u-bend cut off today, all ready for headers.

problems: i pulled threads out of one of the LIM bosses tonight. i didn't even over-torque the damn thing. and i'm missing the one at the very front of the blower. how prevalent are vacuum leaks around the supercharger?

and i need some help running vac lines still, and i need a location as to where the MAP sensor is on the L67. blue, bio, where are you guys? lol

However if you haz GT...stuff will be different, like the BBV not being connected IIRC and the EVAP being in the front.

Leaks around the SC are VERY common. I just covered the top and bottom of the SC gasket with RTV.

I took off the SC bypass solenoid, and the bottom nipple on the BBV just goes to atmosphere. the L67 MAP sensor bolts onto the back of the SC. And blue is right the EVAP sits in front of the supercharger and makes it look like poop.

All is good...till you get on your RTV kick again. Just like sealing the S/C snout you said you did with RTV...sealing the bottom of the blower is probably why you have leaks. I've never had leaks on the S/C when you use the factory GM S/C gasket or a Felpro one...if your using the Garlock gaskets, that's why it is leaks, they are awful.

DO NOT use RTV to seal the blower.

Use a gasket.

Be smart about it. The only time your using RTV to seal anything blower related is when your installing an intercooler.

staying away from rtv, check lol. alright, so if i'm seeing that right, the vacuum fitting on the front of the lim T's off to go to the MAP sensor, which gets mounted on the supercharger, and to another T coming off the fuel pressure regulator, going to the solenoid/bbv/small fitting on the supercharger. i'll get some pics of what i think are the evap solenoid and canister tomorrow. obviously one from the evap solenoid goes to the throttle body. and i'm pretty sure the bbv i have is broken, so i'll need a new one of those. does that get mounted to the blower case?

nick, what should i do about the damaged lim threads?
jrow, what do you mean you took the solenoid off? got any pics of your finished setup? they would be really helpful
