Re: phil's build thread... unforseen issues

well, if it makes you feel any better, that girl is as awkward as can be and always looks like a lost puppy dog lol. i'll be there 11-7 tomorrow. i checked your car out on break man, i wish i could have heard it. and you might wanna poke around the pasenger side intercooler hoses, looked like there might have been a small leak.

Re: phil's build thread... unforseen issues

Yea I saw some drips under it My new coolant bottle drips it might be that but it soudns loud still maybe even more loud my co worker had me rev it out there before I left lol... but my water pump is making awful noises...

no it won't It will get stuck on flat ground in an inch of snow lol I'm worried about how my car wikll do in the snow this year the tires break free so easy now... have to baby it at the lights I don't have any ic lines passenger side was it green or red? lol but yea I can stop bye tommorrow when I get my check

Re: phil's build thread... unforseen issues

i couldn't tell, it was just a dark spot on the ground, right up by the fmhe. maybe the radiator tubing then, or it's not even from your car lol. i got to looking at it from the drive thru window and just started thinking, damn, that's probably a solid 12 second car. it'll go **** up some vettes. whats the lift on the cam you're running?

Re: phil's build thread... unforseen issues

Not very much lol I say its a 13 second car although it pulls really hard even Paul was surprised how hard it pulls

Re: phil's build thread... unforseen issues

well, for anyone else keeping track, thanks to cole i know that it truely is a random multiple misfire... #1 and #4 seemed to do it the most, so i pulled the wires off the coil to check spark. shocked the f*ck out of myself, so it's firing. got a few on #6, #2, and a handful on #3. #5 never did. rules out coils for sure. anybody have the procedure for a proper CASE relearn? i can't get anything that consistent other than it seems to only be one cylinder at a time

Re: phil's build thread... unforseen issues

where in indiana is he? it might be time to hand this over to somebody who knows what's going on. i'm ready for it to be done

Re: phil's build thread... unforseen issues

He's about 2 hours from troy its just a problem in your tune right ? Just have him comet and tune it do it Monday so I don't have to mail a check lol

Re: phil's build thread... unforseen issues

hahaha probably. even if it's not, i need it tuned. i'll probably give him a call this week sometime

Re: phil's build thread... unforseen issues

19 inches of vacuum at 3k rpms with the blower hooked up... i think there's a vacuum leak somewhere

Re: phil's build thread... unforseen issues

well, it finally threw some new codes. in addition to random/multiple misfire, i have MAF low voltage, both oxygen sensor low voltage, and P1646 - EVAP vent control circuit. basically, all air and fuel metering circuits are fubar right now. i believe i have a wiring gremlin

Re: phil's build thread... unforseen issues

I had some of those codes after my header install and I ended up pinching some wiring between the header and the head might check there.

Re: phil's build thread... unforseen issues

i know there was a green wire going into a 1-wire connector that i damaged... pulled out of the connector. but i soldered both of the sides together. I had a bunch of problems with the MAF before all of this. i feel like between the MAF and the oxygen sensor, i could explain my misfires. the scan gauge showed constant frequencies though. this is gonna be a pain in the ass.
