that screching could be your brakes, there not that expencive i bougt thoese duralast gold pads the ceramic ones and i have a lifetime warenty on them, the clunking probly meens you need to get you transmission checked.

replaced powersteering pump and resivour and rack and pinion and i still have that wiring noise ever time i turn.

Driver side lower door molding is ready for paint, only to find out it is warped and won't install back correctly (middle section on the bottom wont be tracked in) so I need to figure out what to do about that.

Exhaust leak from the front and the back of the crossover, my awesome-o package I ordered over a month ago still isnt here.


Probably going to pull the front header and the crossover, clean them up, and try re-sealing them. Also LTFTs are sitting at 16.4% at idle, so I need to track down a new vacuum leak.

RR tire has slow leak, ebrake doesnt hold which is preventing a good sticker and power steering whines when I beat on the car. Other than that car is mint. 00' GTP.

ha ha ha number twenty and I'm just now getting into the major mechanical issues...

21. Exhaust leaks from down pipe, crossover, and front manifold <gasket was replaced no change>
22. is on its fourth axle
23. rear tires wear on the inside after alignment was done. need new cam bolts I was told (I called BS and they wouldn't do anymore work because I was an a**hole)
24. rear pad was bent from whoever did the breaks before me, HTFk Does that happen???
25. emergency break doesn't work
26. S/C coupler needs replacing
27. Burnt the PLUGS out of cylinder 1 & 3 some how.
28. possibly have FVCKED piston head
29. obvious issue with exhaust valve in cylinder #1
30. BBV fell apart
31. needs all 4 hub bearings
32. needs front ball joints replaced
33. rear defrost light on hvac controls is out but defrost works
34. PERF SHIFT light out but works
35. Low Coolant light is always on and never low..


One great BIG positive thing though...

Had a leak in passenger rear tire, used fix-a-flat. Then the tire all out blew-out so I put the spare on and realized that it was flat too...

I got a new tire yesterday. This morning my thermostat stuck so at about 225* I shut it down, went to start it and the battery died... Yeah I'm still winning

So I turned to AM station today to get the traffic report onlt to find I dont get any AM stations. Yet my FM is fine and I never get any static. All I get on the AM is static.

Maybe I should push the cover over a cliff? Lol jk

But what would cuase that?

id like to replace mt sway bar bushing, the clunks wont go away by themselves.

I forgot to mention I saw two cars on the side of I-75 today, all of whom had the donut tire on - and in both cases the donut was blown out.

seriously, don't they say specifically NOT to take those on the highway?

Mine says in the manual good for 120 miles no faster than 55 mph

my 2004 grand prix gt2 pcm is bad in mine, going to the dealer tomorrow it also needs tie rod ends (will do when I get the money) an my tire pressure monitoring system needs to be serviced, also my outside temp reader needs serviced an my compass (not sure when im going to fix those)

^ prepare to pay out the booty, oh and btw there was no GT2 in 04 it would be either a base model or a GTP. GT started for the 06-08 years.

For mine

Rear struts need replacing

Alternator went out (already have a new one sitting here)

Battery is now dead because of above will warranty that out thanks Advance

Exhaust leak from header that I'll eventually address

Annoying what sounds like lifter tick will address that soon

Old car, problems arise no biggie

HID's cause radio interference.

Exhaust leaks out the wazoo.

E-brake cable clanks like a mother on bumps.

Tranny needs a PCS solenoid and TCC solenoid replaced.

OnStar antenna leaks during heavy downpours.

Edges of doors need touch ups.

AC system has a leak.

Charging system wiring.

base, gt2, gtp, and comp g all in 04...gt replaced GTP in 06-07, GXP began in 05, and it was base and GXP in 08....

What makes you think your pcm is bad? You probably just need to reset your tps and compass.
