Oil leak

wait a minute, like drive down the road and stall for no reason, pull over it fires back and its ok again type stalling out?

if so take the balancer back off and change the crank sensor.

Nah, haven't driven the car in months. I just mean idle in the yard. Its been on jacks for a good month I would say

Runs fine for about a minute with the MAF plugged in. Then just puffs for air and dies

So as of right now.
Problem happening now is a problem that also happened before the balancer was put on wrong.
The car starts up fine every time, then after about a minute of running it revs a bit lower than normal and then dies.
Is that a symptom of CPS?

Shoot I knew I forgot something when I went into town. Is there a specific name of the guage for the fuel rail?

Until you unplug the maf and follow my suggested test.. I'm not saying chitty chitty bang bang! lol

And..... I was right once, maybe I'm right again.

pretty sure its a standard size thread. if you buy one it may have a few adapters. so should the rental. if not, its not one size fits all.

Okay. I just know its a bit larger than the tire plugs =P

Bill, I unplugged the MAF and let it run for a bit, when I hold my foot slightly on the gas it stays revved up to 1500 ish rpms and then when I left off the gas it ends up dying after it starts idling.
It makes a noise like its starving for air at the intake when it goes to die

Keep it running for a full minute. Put it in gear and keep it idling for another minute in gear. Then see if it'll hold it's own.

After keeping it running a minute, put it in drive and keep it running for a minute, and then see if it will hold its own in drive or in park?

Which gear should I be in to see if it will hold its own after I run it for a minute in drive? Thats what I'm wondering

Ran the car around 1.5 - 2k rpms for about a minute and a half, put it in drive but not for very long because I have no brake pressure. Need to bleed the back ones I think. When I had the car all apart we had the brakes disconnected.

Car has been idling in park on its own for over 2 minutes now. Fan has kicked on. Cooling back down.
MAF is still unplugged.
The car idles around 950ish rpms and then drops to 900 and then revs itself back up. Is that due to the cam?
