• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Now with less white and more function.

Re: Now with moar intercooler install.

Finally decided it might be time to do a pulley drop. With the whole cam, intercooler, bigger injectors, and a tune meant for a tiny pulley.

Ordered tonight, should have stuff on by next weekend.

Re: Now with moar intercooler install.

Well I currently have a 3.8, 3.4, and 3.0 modular pulley, but my MPS hub is on my ported gen 3. So I ordered another hub and a puller, and an 8 rib belt for the 2.8-3.0 pulley size.

Also got the 04+ needles that REDCOMPG sent.

Re: Now with moar intercooler install.

I did things for a change.

Got some 04+ needles from REDCOMPG

Rerouted all my vacuum lines to hide them better, came out really nice. I still need to open the wiring harness back up and extend the TB connections now that the IC is on and they just barely reach, along with rerouting some of the wires again.

Plopped the 3.4 pulley on (still on stock injectors) and come to find out a 685 belt is too short. Needs a 690. So I said **** it and threw the 3.0 on there with the 8 rib 680, and am diligently keeping an eye on my AFRs and knock. So far I've got almost 1/2 throttle and just saw a blip of knock and let out (about 1.5*) Made 8psi though. Should be getting the injectors sometime next week, and until then, it shall be a garage queen.

So much better than stock, everyone should do this. Managed to get every needle dead on, which made me very pleased.

yay little pulley

Come to find out the plastic barb thing was brittle as hell, so I had to contend with this

Ended up hitting it with a torch for a few seconds, then stabbed a 45* pick in there, let it cool, and it yanked right out.

Tiny pulley and 8-rib belt on.

Re: Now with less pulley and moar belt.

Is that upper rad hose just one of those basic braided hose kits you buy from the parts store?

Re: Now with less pulley and moar belt.

Are you gonna run the PCV correctly or just leave the breather? Doesn't it end up being unmetered air? I know you have the intercooler and all, but I've seen some oil caps that havea nipple for the PCV. Then you have to drill\tap the TB and all that, I had to drill\tap mine to have functioning PCV, wasn't really that hard.

That thing literally whined at I'm guessing 3000......

Re: Now with less pulley and moar belt.

Looking good. Should be a whole lot quicker on the 3.0. A little tip for next time on the plastic plug in the supercharger is pry out just enough to grab it with some pliers then unscrew it. They break every time I have tried to just pull them out. I have not broken one since.

Re: Now with less pulley and moar belt.

Too cold to paint. Warmest its been in the garage with the heater on is about 45. As far as the breather, it'll stay on until I decide to redo the valve covers. The rear PVC is setup and the TB is tapped. I really hate the look of a vacuum line out of the oil cap, so I'll just do it out of a corner of the valve cover to hide it a little. The whine is awesome. That was only 4kish, can't wait to hear it at 6500
