• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Now with less white and more function.

Re: Now with less updates!

For all those wanting updates, I has one.

I got a really lumpy looking piece of metal in the mail today.

Thing is in great shape. No play at all, rotors are in great shape, very clean throughout. Really having a tough time debating what color to paint it. It's between copper and silver.

Re: Now with less updates!

ALSOOOOO, I may or may not have bought a lump stick and timing chain/tensioner.

So the blower wont be going on until I've got all the parts for the lump stick install. Need to get some 105's, milled retainers, seals, etc.

Re: Now with less updates!

No spoiler because I haven't had to to do anything to it besides open it and be in awe at the epicness of it. Thanks again mofford.

The cam is new, Comp Cam 76-802-9

Hopefully when things slow down over winter at work I'll have time to actually mess with some of this stuff.

Re: Now with less updates!

XD, actually the ends are super close to being a perfect triangle. It was so close we actually measured it. 2 sides were 13 3/4" and the 3rd was 14 1/16. Props to the packing skills.

Got the cam off of wacompg

Re: Now with less updates!

No idea. I'm up in NC now, working 55+hour weeks. I honestly dont know when I'll be able to do the cam/gen V and stuff.

Re: Now with less updates!

when you get back let me know
i was talking with shane and he want to show off his new stang

but ya do something for lunch when you get back

(especially since you still owe me a lunch)

Re: Now with less updates!

Started pulling **** off. Got the whole top end off, and both heads are done. Hopefully get enough time tomorrow to open the LIM inlet up, block the coolant ports and open up the end cap coolant area.

I've got pics but I'm too lazy to get them posted up.

It'll be a couple days before the front cover gets yanked and the cam goes in.

Re: Now with less updates!

I know rite!?

Something about the 55-60 hour work weeks that get in the way.

Though I may just decide I don't need sleep and go from there

Re: Now with less updates!

I'm working about 80 this week and 73 last week. I haven't had time to do ****
