• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Now with less white and more function.

Re: Now with less updates!

let me know man i can make a sweet deal on it shipped.. going to list it on here in the next half hour or so..

Re: Now with less updates!

Well, I got the 40th off of mofford, so I should hopefully have it in a couple days. Gonna get the trunk off, fill the holes and shave the key hole, get it mounted up, and get it painted.

I truely love the look of the 40th/special edition, so we'll see how it turns out.

Might be picking up a complete L32 sometime next week to turn into a fun time winter project.

Re: Now with less updates!

Well, I decided to go against convention and instead of doing a pulley drop, I'm doing a supercharger swap. Cause why spend $50 on a pulley when you can spend $85 on a Gen V?

Pics to come once the supercharger gets here.

Taking suggestions for what color to paint it. Not going to do black, cause the gen III that's on there is black and I want something different.

Thoughts are Silver/aluminum (nice clean color)
White (Cause it'd look awesome on the white car, but unsure of how clean it'd stay)
Gold/bronze (cause **** yeah that's why)

Re: Now with less updates!

where did you route the harness that branches out from the radiator supports and over the supercharger?

Re: Now with less updates!

^ That's a secret.

Under the TB, very very close to the crossover on the headers. wrapped them in cool-hose or whatever it's call. super high temp heat reflective stuff. havent had any issues yet.

Not doing a polished blower either. While it does look cool, I don't care for the super shiny stuff.

Got my Gen V adapter plate, LIM gaskets, and some other stuff in today. Supercharger should be here mon/tues. I need to pull the TB off and clean it super well, and tap the bottom plug for PCV. More stuff to do.

Re: Now with less updates!

Update.

There are no updates.

As soon as the blower gets here I'll clean it up and paint it. I need to source some bolts for it though. Local hardware only has 12mm hex head bolts in the pitch/length I need, and that'd look like assfoot on that sexy blower.

Though I do plan on doing a full write-up for the swap, with lots of pictures.
