• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Re: My 2005 Impala LS

that vid shows pretty much how i did my tails. buffing by hand, you want to work the compound to dust tho. the porter cable makes short work of the polishing part. i did mine by hand the first time, since then i have re buffed mine 3 times with the pc. if they are cleared, they will get swirl marks just like paint.

for one coat yours look really good, they do have that like glass look now.:th_thumbsup-wink:

Re: My 2005 Impala LS

Haven't done the passenger one yet? THe driver side is a LOT darker if you have...
not gonna lie passenger side came out lighter.. but the sun is setting and its setting on the passenger side making it look lighter.
pick at 7:30pm

Re: My 2005 Impala LS

Thought I would share my MPG'S I was shocked, I reset my dic average mpg on highway from 401 highway, Wellington exit drove for lil over a hour onto the 402 highway going 65 mph with cruise controll, road is not straight has lots of turns and hills.

which =38.5 MPG :th_biggrin2: made me very happy. this is with 3:05 gearing for those who dont know what gearing impala's have

Re: My 2005 Impala LS

thanks man, few ppl believe me when i say i can get 36-38mpg highway, so theres the proof

Re: My 2005 Impala LS

I only ever ran a full tank dry without the overkill tune years ago.. havent had much money to fill it all the way up since then hence why i am getting a new career lol
googled my tank size everything I find is 64.3l/17 gallon tank

Re: My 2005 Impala LS

so if i calculate this 38mpg X 17 gallon tank= 646 miles or 1039 km..... if i stay on a road that keeps me 38 mpg

Re: My 2005 Impala LS

Hey grimsin how is the light out put given through your tinted tails? My tail lights on my gp have tons of condensation and I want to tint them to cover it up but also I dont want to get rear ended.

This was pulled at 0-10 degrees Celsius, I took the pic as soon as the low gas warning went off.
