Nice car. But in reference to a post earlier on this page, all 3800 Impala's got the 3.29's...the 3400 cars got the 3.05 FDR

no they don't. police package Impala's have the 3:29 ratio, LS has 3:05, 3400 Impalas are 2:86
Edit: I know this due to extensive internet searching, and replaced my transmission with a 2005 gp gt that has 3:05 gearing and didnt need my PCM flashed for it, and my buddy has a 2003 impala police package that shifts way earlier then mine.

Plans this spring/summer is tint, and new suspension, most likely lowered. My brother almost bought a grand prix lowered on SSC springs and he was gonna give me the suspension but then he backed out last second :th_angry-cussing:

Also kill the trans faster :)

Get some wider tires on the stock wheels...have them powdercoated gunmetal or something...

And then dump it.

Kinda done with modding for performance.. I think, mostly want the lowering for looks, then some tint it would look much better then just wheel on 4x4 stance.

oh and it looks like I get the suspension I want, should have it on by spring, SSC springs with struts $150, Thanks to nyordrms

car has now become a high mileage daily driver, 1100km a week all highway so now its all about keeping the car in good shape and reliable, so new suspension, and get all the paint chips fixed.

thinking the car will just stay n/a, maybe a plog will get put on this summer but idk, if I do it hopefully it will get me a few mpg's lol

no more mods..Car has rust now.. bottom of back door, drivers side :th_shakinghead2: so have to figure out the best way to fix this. and the million other stone chips..
