• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

The 1900 would not benefit me at all. It would benefit someone running aluminum heads on a forged stroker... anything less than that and the 1320 is a better choice. Also the 1900 is anything but cheaper. That guy had $3600 into his setup and it still doesn't run right.

Becasue the pulley is way to small LOL :)

You've shown an abundance of inexperience regarding just about everything... I think you should just sit back and enjoy the show.

HAHA glad I can humor you. I was kidding apparently you dont get that from like 50% of my posts. Still on the tvs 1320 being the mostest awesomest SC ever for a 3800 lol............ :)

Yeah, think he said he was seeing boost at idle, haha.

So, is it the 1320 you'd be looking to work with? I'd honestly just call Harrop and ask them to just make it all for you. Maybe you'd need to ship them a LIM to get it perfect without you measuring your eyeballs off. Might cost a couple of bucks, but it beats getting it wrong... and might let some other people play with a group buy (think the one guy at 3800pro was doing pricing for 5 sets).

I talked to Harrop and they wanted about twice as much money for a TVS than Joe Schmoe does on the Cobalt forums. I don't want to put $2500-$3000 into this. Good ideas though and I'm sure that other people who are interested could definitely make that work.

I was mostly referring to the adapter plate. I had kinda figured that would set you back like $3-500 from them.

The Cobalts use a different style 1320 than their Generic counterpart. The adapter plate they made for the 1900 to fit our motor would probably work with their 1320, but not the Cobalt 1320.

Anything would have to be from scratch and since I'd be buying a used blower and not a new one from them they would more than likely not be interested. If I can't figure it out on my own though I'll give them a call just to see.

Just thought of something else... the alt bracket (my car is a 98) that bolts to the back of the M90 will have no boss to bolt into... any ideas?

Throw it out like 90% of us. I have ran with out it for 2 plus years and my alternator is still right where I left it.

Neither are the MAP bracket or the left dog bone if you choose to toss a HBody coil pack bracket on there. Along with all the engine pull brackets which I hope you have already removed. I also removed tons of misc. brackets around the motor that ended up weighing nearly 50 pounds when was all said and done.

OP 3800pro is a good site, they dont piss on eachother

hell one guy even said sorry for being a douche in a thread

theres a couple oddball blower set ups floating over there
