yes it would easily.

On the AU forums supposedly one guy was close to- shooting for 400whp a2a cooled.

Also if you actually read the old post on 3800pro the adaptor plate was purchased from harrop

100 More HP than a Gen5 where are you hiding the drugs becasue your high!

Just get your TVS 1320 done and we'll see still doubt its gonna make 40-50 more HP over the Gen5, Ive said a billion times for the money other mods would yeild better results its going to be different no doubt congrats now get it done........

Just sayin that pepole were upgrading to GenV's for more than this swap will cost just a couple years ago.

Why dont you research before spouting off?

I agree somewhat on the money to HP ratio. To run effective boost numbers 16+lbs a better head gasket is required, shooting down slow's (or should i say SNOWFLAKE's) idea of not tearing the car down and budget power to ****. A Non Ic TVS XP properly built car could make 400whp. Again 105s and im sure a stock chain Aint gonna cut it.
But again look at people spending 1200+ a few years ago for a gen5, lol.
If you think of that then the fact that you might be able to do the swap for 1500-2000 and have a killer power adder, it doesn't seem so stupid.

If it's so easy then why are you building a GenV motor when you could get an old junker L36 and put a turbo on for 1/2 the price and twice the power?

Hypocrite.

I won't need to tear the motor down right off the bat because I don't plan on running 16lbs and making 400whp. I'm going for ~12psi and 350whp.

Becasue I already told you a few pages back I already have the polished gen5 belt wrap kit and IS3 cam, tried selling it when my Regal GS burned down in April so I'll keep it. Dont read your own thread huh?

Stupid move to even buy any of that stuff in the first place. Shoulda just went straight to the turbo. What were you thinking? Turbo is most power per dollar and any other choice is just asinine.

Not when the parts are cheap and with the Gen5 cam and E85 Ill hit the 350whp your shooting for aswell also if it doesnt I'll just add the IC and still cost less than all this TVS nonsense. I'd think about it 5 years down the road when it cost less and parts were easier to find now not a chance. Ive never said the TVS isnt more effecient we've beat that to death a million times the price and availibilty still dont make it worth it.

Umm nope hate to say it but a nitrous'd gen3 car could be in the 12's easily for less than a the price of a turbo. Their isnt really any wrong way to make a car fast its all how deep are your pockets what to you want from it dyno queen, 1/4 mile times, daily driver? ect.
Still believe in the CHEAP, FAST, RELIABLE you can only pick 2
Think the TVS will be everything but cheap.

sorry for asking again but what did your current setup dyno? I do believe it will gain power by added timing and less parasitic drag running the same boost. Probably a good 10-20WHP.
The whole point would be to run more boost with lower delta's.

Delta temps are going to be super low and boost is going to(or should) be higher,(win win) The VE of the motor simply wont flow enough not to ...Dont want to use the word but "boost stack". Thats why more boost will be needed.
Power will be lost down low but it should scream up top much like a turbo build.

I would love this blower on my car, but spending 2k on a car thats worth 2k doesnt make sense.
Its like putting thousand dollar rimz yo on my GrAnDPrix yo

Go back to the begining it made something like 301 whp with stock injectors and crap tune.
Like you said it will have gains no doubt esp when he gets some real injectors but I still dont think its gonna make 350whp from the TVS swap and injecotrs. Add an IC and this is a whole different story!!

My car is at ~300whp... I've taken it higher but it wasn't a street tune. The TVS is going to make just as much down low power (it's a roots blower just like the m90) it just needs to be spun a little faster. It'll move the same amount of air on a 3.0 pulley that the GenV moves on a 3.2, but the air will be MUCH colder and it will take a lot less to turn it. Then I can drop down from there and see how much I pick up.

You're not gonna hit 350whp on a GenV without an intercooler, even with E85. And if you think my tune isn't spot on with a non-intercooled street setup making 300whp on 93 pump you're out of your mind.

plot points from 4100rpm to 6300rpm on my current setup

The difference in efficiency is dramatic to say the least.

No I said 350 whp with a Gen5 IS3 cam which would obviously require head work and E85 for get the 350 whp goal. It should be damn close. If it doesnt crack 350whp with an IC it certainly will and cost less has been my whole point all along. Pretty sure others have came damn close if not over 350 whp cammed with a gen5 and no IC.

My swap is going to be under $1500 all said and done, since when is this an expensive number???

Dont think youll be under 1500 either, Any idea what the TVS alone is going to cost? then the cost of injectors?

I already have the injectors... those were set to go in regardless of this swap. I was tinkering with the idea of going intercooled but I'll need to spend $500-$800 and I'll still have a ****ty blower that I can't sell since I'm using it.

The TVS is getting picked up for $1000-$1200. So far I have $80 into the R&D. I have friends that do welding and fabrication for free. In fact my buddy who is awesome with fabricating (not that much needs to be fabricated) owes me since we just swapped the transmission in his Fbody.

Why would I intercool this and spend more $ when I can run up to 16psi before reaching delta temps of an m90 at 10psi...
