I street raced an LT1 camaro last Friday on a local Fbody meet. It had a 383 stroker engine, heads, cam, tune, headers, dual exhaust with race bullets. That one wasn't so "ROFL".

I bet it would've kicked my ass if it had more traction at launch and a street long enough.

To be fair its not really a LT1 anymore when you bore/stroke/cam and other bolt-ons. Thats like saying 02-WS6-TA is rollin around with a LS1 under the hood.

I know it was a stock LT1, I was just adding to the convo saying that I almost got my ass handed over to me by one the other night. I beat stock LT1s with my GTP in the past too.

Race cars making 1300rwhp do. There is a pic of it pulling the front end, I spent 10 minutes looking and can't remember what thread of many it is, so I say blah, and stand by my calling Shenanigans on you, sir.

You copulatory organ... You would find a pic of it in pieces. So, it doesn't have EGR? It's got the Stock PCM, Wiring Harness, Accessory drive including functioning A/C, and a tiny bit more displacement than it came with. It is an LS1 based car. So there.
 
Only pic under the hood I believe you've shown us, didn't want to hunt for a good one on LStech

Stock PCM that is re-tuned, new heads that are not the same as LS1s, cammed, headers, intake... I'm sure its still on a stock LS1 block but are the rest of the lowers still factory? I didn't think they were good for 1300+ rwhp, if so I apologize.

My simple point was that you can't really call it a LS1 when it has 50% or more of the original parts replaced with something better. A 383 stroker motor is called a 383 stroker, not a 350, just sayin.

If you are referring to my saying this to 02WS6TA, it was merely a statement in regards to his saying his Dirty Bird has a LS1 under the hood... which at one point it did, but you can't really say that anymore.

The reality is this thread derailed a long time ago is will likely soon spiral out of control, I'm quite sure of this.
