It's really not it just looks that way because he's very in depth with his write up. If you can do simple maintenance you can do this. Hell you did your headers that's much more involved then this is.

Plus a shop will charge you out the ass unless you find someone willing to do it without telling you they would have to charge you to pull the trans etc

Well guys its a sad for 2dr GTPs we lost another one, I got Tboned today while crossing an intersection. Best part is the other dirver did not have insurance. Totally heart broken cause I loved this car, more then some past rides due to the advancements I made in personal knowledge on maintenance and modding thanks to this site. I am physically fine, my elbow is a little banged up and my head took a decent bang but otherwise im good. Its been great fellas, pretty sure she is beyond repair. Probably couldnt bring myself to doing it anyways. Lil Blackys last act was defending me against a 92 Buick Century, she deserved better.

Heh the other driver was this fat native chick, and from where im from means shes got literally nothin. I might get something for the uninsured motorist coverage we have in WA but not much, I will most likely buy it back and part it out to someone locally. It starts up and runs fine but wont track well due to the hit on the suspension. Im not gonna worry too much about the money, its just money I just actually hate to see another 2dr go down. This was my third 2dr and I dont think I can do another one.

EDIT: The wheels could be saved but in the process three of them got pretty scratched up, rubber is still pretty good so I figured like 400$ for all four or somethin. I dont know if im going to take the time to actually part it out hopin to find some GTP enthusiast in the area to pic up the whole thing.
 
So sad. Such a nice car and to see that you took your time with it and treated it right makes it even worse. Time for a 4 door now? :)

Heh I have a 4dr, I got Black 01 thats bone stock, its funny though its way more problematic then any other GTP ive owned. Im looking for 7th gens really want an SE but ill take a straight GTP.

If your going to buy it back I would part it out and make some money back or swap everything to your other GP
 
If its under 3k to save it I might do it simply because I wanted to get new paint on it anyways somewhere down the line but not sure. Im pretty sure its gonna be a total, its a 97 with 190k on it. Im dreading parting it out, was enough hard work putting the parts in. Pulling them out is gonna be a nightmare for me.
 


Well bought this today, pretty much exactly what I wanted and for the right price, 2012 Charger R/T Road and Track fully optioned. Happy with the new purchase still bummed about Lil Blacky I took her home today and will begin the process if deciding what to do.

What are the odds I could find someone to buy her whole rather then parting her out? The motor and tranny works and I believe once I get the front driver wheel off all it would take to get her fully operational would be some new suspension parts? Any thoughts on this situation? I just dont have time to part her out.
