GR2's. I'm not forking over the money for AGX's, especially cause they probably won't last much longer than GR2's.

Well..hopefully mine are finsihed before too long. I either have everything I need or it's on its way...EXCEPT for washers for the bushings haha.

I think the fronts will be similar Ralm. But the rear wont be since you have leafs in the back don't you?

Should be McPherson lol haven't seen it in a month but pretty positive. I think the 4th gen was the last to use leaf suspension for rear

Turns out your right its been too long since I looked at the rear suspension I did the research its a monoleaf independent suspension so only choices are leaf lowering or coil-overs for rear. I guess rear suspension can be converted fairly easy. I think id be keeping the leaf and adding the coil-overs in place of the current struts.... but since the rear has already compressed due to the ice storm we had in april I just need to lower the front to match lol

I'm not sure if it has been done or but...you may want to look into if the shock mounts in the rear can take the weight of the car now behind move to the struts instead of on the leaf. I know 3rd gen Fbodies need reinforcement in the strut mounts when going to coils.

Got more stuff. I have absolutely no clue why A1 didn't send me the rear sleeves. They didn't charge me or send them but they're on my order sheet and the total includes the sleeves. So now I have to email them to see if they're being sent or what. Kinda pissed cause I was hoping to knock it all out this weekend. Guess that won't happen. Struts come tomorrow.

Just got an email from A1. I guess the rear sleeves are on back order. It'd be nice if they tell you that BEFORE you order them.

Anyone know where I can get a pair of 6.5" by 2.1" sleeves?

So I got my struts today. But I think I have an issue.

Here's the top of my strut. I don't remember seeing this on the regular GR-2's. This strut is black with an "Excel-G" sticker, but still has the GR2 part number. Anywho

Okay. Let's add to the confusion. I got on goggle and typed in the model number hoping to find a pic of a silver GR2. I didn't look very hard but all I found was the black excel g. But the pics I was looking at I noticed 3 things. The first is that the piece that I have is not on the pics I found. There was just simply a metal plate. The second thing I noticed is that all of these ones with the plate, were also painted flat black, opposed to my gloss black. The third thing I noticed is that they have a diff sticker, in a different location. But I didn't think much assuming it was a generic pic for all their struts

SOOO...out of curiosity I opened up the other box, and wouldn't you know it, I got a flat black with the metal plate. Dafuk?

This one here is just like the ones I saw online.
