• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Just spent 1700 dollars!

Wasn't hatin bro... just saying. A cone filter on the end of a tube doen't have any semblance of pullin cold air. You say neither do CAI set ups, so why continue to call it a CAI? Arn't you just proving my point?

It's a Open Cone.

I never called it a cold air...you did.

And so does K&N, it's a "marketing tool"

And for the people that actually understand the platform; know it is a waste of money. Look at where the factory or even aftermarket exhaust routes...does it really look like there is going to be anything remotely cool...I mean, honestly?

I want to whore mine out too..... even though it's filthy right now and still needs my whitcomb painted front valve cover and fuse box cover installed

$40 at ZZP, K&N cone filter and tubing with clamps.

That is a car that would benefit from moving the cruise bracket a bit back if you want to keep it and running a massive 9" cone off the TB.

For reals.

meh... see how we agree? BTW I have a cone filter on the end of a tube. didn't mean to give the impression I didn't. I was simply making a point...

What is a troll anyway? not sure what all your interwebs lingos are...

How do we agree?

You were trying to tell me that I was talking about a CAI...or cold air for that matter...then you say you've got an open cone...

Google is your friend that this point...FTLulz

Wow I hadn't realized I singled you out! oh wait, I didn't. I simply pointed out a cone filter on a tube is not a CAI. For some reason you took it as a direct attack against you. umm... It's not all about you bro...

So yeah... Your right, and I guess I'm just plain old wrong. So if you could just post one more time and tell me how this post is incorrect also, I promise to learn from your greatness, and never dare to make a point of fact again.

And I guess I was trolling... because my point did not answer the OPs question... Which was whether or not he did good... So I apoligize to him... and end this conversation(?) now, so it can go back to point.

On topic, yes you did good OP.

Basically if you are getting a K&N kit, Wiz air, Fenderwell setup, etc... you will be doing it for the looks. Performance will be the same.

So OP.

Care to comment on what all has taken place since your first post?

To me I dont grasp how the total was 1700 bucks.

What kind of tires did you buy?

In my head if you return the intake (like you should), the total to me should be around1200 ish, unless your tires were stupid $$$$.
