Well the on post shop did not have the right tools, but between the helper and me, we got it done. Only spent $9 for bay rental and all the tools.

I invested my self in a slide hammer and CV puller for 50 bucks from eBay. But the on base shop is completely worth it as well

Edit: and I hate the people that work in our shop. They tried to tell me my tranny should only take a couple quarts of fluid after a shift kit. I went ahead and put in 7 and the guy swore I ruined my tranny haha

Yup, the helpers at my shop tried to tell me their two cents....and I put them in their fvcking place, now they think we are buddies.

I'm about to, had to re balance all 4 of my tires cause the simpleton at the post shop on Polk used the wrong weights and they came off.....SO IF you want something done right, you gotta do it yourself.


Serious question time?????

I put Remanufactured CV shafts in Thursday, Right and Left Side. Today when i had my wheels off, I noticed that on BOTH cv shafts the outside boots are slinging grease!!!!!

What the fvck would cause this?

What should I do about it?

Nice day here in Central TX, re balanced the tires, installed my 06 seats and took the family out to Outback Steakhouse.

Thanks to whoever posted and or wrote the write up about which wires to connect from one harness to the other.

Gotta say the difference between my 98 seats and the 06 seats is VERY awesome, what comes to mind, better feel, softer, better lumbar and stability. Glad I did this upgrade.

Texas....I know the sedans are probably different, but how did you get the lense cover on top by the doors off without breaking the tabs? On my coupe they are above the seatbelt and I managed to break them both but got new ones at the yard. I have to remove the bulbs to install new ones so I don't wanna break them again if I can avoid it.

Looks good! how does your back feel with em?? Did you get the heat n everything working first time around? I thought 06+ were the solid headrest tho? Mine are

Take a picture D, not sure what your talking about, I use a pick for removing most lenses in the interior.

Thanks, my back feels great we took the Prix to dinner last night, thanks to that connection wire up I got the heat working first time, not sure about the headrest thing, they did come out of a 06 though.
