Little update, got the third pregen painted, but need to finish it with 2 coats of clear. Then onto the fourth one, rims should be done hopefully by the end of the week. Just gotta wait for tax return to get some tires. SO........FVCKING........CLOSE......

Yall will like the picture of the ride with the new rims, there are going to be some extra little additions.

Well chit brotha, you went ahead and changed the doggone avatar without those pre-gen pictures. I feel somewhat betrayed.
So anyway since From dusk till dawn is the new moniker bling pic...I needed to substitute the pre-gens with a vamp pic

I have been staring at this photo for a while and I think I need to do 3 coats, cause I only did 2 on this last rim and it looks a little lighter.

I was also looking to get the trailing arms off of this Impala (police pkg). They are tubular, Will they fit a 98?
The junkyard wants $40 for the pair, is that a good deal?

bmr like a bauce they are the same price as umi's $130 but bmr are thicker

Yeah I thought $40 for the pair was a little high, might try and haggle with them. Also I googled the Police Imp. and the front sway bar is 34MM and that same car has it. I will see what they can do for me. Not giving up yet.

Yeah, that's what happened I changed the formula and now have to fix it, good thing I'm waiting on tax return for tires, so I got time.

Little update, wet sanded the clear on the third rim, then laid down the third coat of graphite which darkened it up. Laid down 1 coat of clear, will do the second tomorrow. Started prepping the fourth rim also. Can't wait to be done with these, refinishing rims is a PITA, but worth it.

Bro, the guys that work with me are even excited to see them on the car, they watch me work on them every day LOL. I had planned to work on them in the morning, but got called by my 1SG cause I have to be a witness at a court hearing...so hopefully tomorrow afternoon I will be able to get more done.

I have been trying to do the Rim Refinish for cheap, but so far I have spent some good money on them.

Pregens(4)- $125.00

Paint(10 cans)- $65.00

Prep Supplies - $10.00

Total so Far- $200.00

Still need Tires :(
