Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

JDrach's 98 Daytona - Snappin chains 4 days

Re: JDrach's 98 Daytona- XP'd

Makes me wanna port my Gen V even though i will have little to no gains love the whine

Re: JDrach's 98 Daytona- XP'd

You can it's fine.. Unless you don't do it right... Just because Dan had a issue doesn't means nothing.

Re: JDrach's 98 Daytona- XP'd

Your not doing it for gains.. Your doing it for a little more whine out of the SC.

Re: JDrach's 98 Daytona- XP'd

Plus... I'm not even gonna get into the whole "ports are there to smooth pulses" thing.

Anything you do is a risk.. Dan screwed up by using the wrong quik steel. Had he used the putty I bet he wouldn't of had a issue but to each his own.. No point in starting a debate over it.

Re: JDrach's 98 Daytona- XP'd

If you can tell me a worthwhile benefit to it, where the pros outweigh the cons, then by all means...explain.

Because it doesn't even make it any louder than a properly ported blower outlet. Without the risk of losing crap in your engine.

Re: JDrach's 98 Daytona- XP'd

There is no more noise.

That's ricer crap.

Keep the exhaust quieter and then you've got all the whine you'll ever want.
