intercooler questions



Its because we dont want you to be disappointed like you probably will be if you went with a SSIC and not the S2...

thats why you have us...
 
Short stack and rockers were a disappointment for me. But VS cam and full Intercooler was way different.
 
So I'm in the middle of putting on my fmhe and it seems the like the bottom air dam is not going back on with the front mount. Am I just dumb, or what? Lol
 


just leave the air dam out all it does is scrape on EVERYTHING ive been running my car with out one for like 6 months
 
OK I thought so lol Yea mine has been scraping too. But I was thinking about citting it up a little to make it fit. But thats either another days project, or il just keep it in case I demod some day. Thanks for the help! No I just need my fuel rails to get here and I can toss on the core and Gen V!

With a proper tune and pulley drop...and flow mods, which a drop-in filter does no consist of...or a sway bar for that matter. Address the first issue with these cars, the exhaust. Buy headers.

Nope, it's a WBody...it'll get hot regardless with a stock t-stat and factory fan turn on points.

Has never installed an intercooler. lol

There is more to the install than just throwing the core under the supercharger. Quite a bit more if you do it correctly.

Yes, but only because its not bolt on.

Also: I installed intercooler and magically I'm overheating all summer long.

I'm willing to bet this summer my temps will be fine.

BUSTED!!! But I was just saying if he feels comfortable pulling the sc then he could to the intercooler.
