Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

I lost :(

yes that what i was sayin that a turbo v8 and a turbo 4 banger v8 should win i meen there is gonna be stipulations. but i guess in all any car can be made fast im just opinionated against srt4s beause they are a neon i like my gtp its nice and roomy but yet fast lol i dont feel like starting a fight in a thread so sorry for any confusion

Uhh.....hehe didnt mean literally payin for the AWD lol, I meant if it were to go out or break I would hate to pay to replace one, hince the part where I said "I would hate to pay for the AWD if it went out" I know they come standard with AWD and if they had 100k warranty like my GP I woulda got that instead. Insurance isnt bad for me I think the STI woulda been around 150 month as to where my GP is about 130 month:th_thumbsup-wink:

Sure the V8 could win. There are SOOooo many variables though. A cars weight for example. But, maybe that turbo V8 is a bloated, heavy, 4 door sedan, lol.

Neons are horrible i know im jus sayin they are quick tho but there are alot of factors that play in affect for ex. Arent the cobalt SS supercharged 4 bangers but put down better times than a stock GTP 4cyc supercharged vs. V6 supercharged?

No...maybe with a good driver but cobalts are no faster...and their a girls car. Who cares if it wins or not?

personally I hate cobalts, and neons. I mainly hate them because they are ****ty car's that can beat mine. And they are small cars. The manufacturers just say "Hey let's put this bad ass motor in this ****ty car!" Nope I still hate it :)

^no he meant a neon or cobalt...which some of them look nice and ya some are fast...but i have yet to hear one that doesnt sound like a gorrilla with some overactive diahrrea

i doubt the supercharged. maybe comparable times. the 08+ TC would take it. supercharged were only like 170hp? and then gm tried using the 2.4 liter in the supercharged i think, i could be wrong. but that was even worse.

yea well i could be wrong i just thought i read in a car magazine and it had said the cobalt SS supercharged runs low 14's in the 1/4 mile stock i cant remeber what size the engine was. Theres this guy that has a modded cobalt SS that calls himself the ''SS KING''. He shows up at this car meet an greet thing i sometimes go too where ppl street race an his friend told me a time where he raced a newer model gto on the highway an were neck an neck with each other. Modded grand prixs are very rare where im from. When me an my friend with the GTX go to the car meet we are usually the only grand prixs there surrounded by nothin but ricers, mustangs an some f-bodies lol.

im willing the to bet the 3.6L v6 in the new camaros would stomp the 5.0 v8 in the 94ish mustangs stock for stock... just sayin

~304 HP in a 3780 pound car versus ~215 HP in a 3077 pound car...Hmm...

14.9 is calculated for the 'stang GT and 14.2 for the base 'maro.

i wasnt even accounting for weight because they were just talkin about engine displacement and the power from it, but hell im sure it would kick the stangs ass with the extra 700 lbs lol

a bad ass motor lol the cobalt has a 2.2 ecojunk thats been around forever. and actually in part of 08 half the year actually the cobalt ss was nothing but a cobalt with a body kit no turbo or s/c.

So? The SS is a optioned package where the person has the option to get the forced induction SS or not...plus...goes to show you...that the 2.2 Ecotec is a VERY stout motor for what it is (and it hasn't beeen around THAT long...maybe what? 15 years?)...ZZP made what...360 FWHP on a bolt on turbo kit...in 4 cylinders. Plus, the non Turbo or non Supercharged SS isn't a 2.2 Ecotec...it is the high output 2.4 LE5 rated at 170+ hp from the factory...and it has been that way since the SS optioned Cobalt has been on the market...same as the Pontiac G5 GT.

the turbo is rated at a 13.9 quarter from the factory, it was probably TC. i'm not so sure about the supercharged. not sayin it couldn't happen though. i do know that the TC is the same motor in the solstice gxp/saturn sky redline. 260hp, about the same torque i believe. i thought the supercharged was only like 205 or something like that.
