How great is the new 2012 Impala LTZ?

I had one as a rental while the GXP was in the shop and it was pretty nice. I did some research because I had it for 3 days. All come with the 3.6 gdi vvt. Standard LT equipment includes 17 inch alloy wheels, decklid spoiler, dual exhaust, and ”SS” treatment grills and no chrome accent on the trunk. LT2 is eliminated leaving only LS, LT, LTZ. LTZ adds Bose, dual zone auto climate control, heated front seats, moonroof, 18 inch trim specific wheels with 235 eagles. Mine was a LT and I felt that it was comfy and roomy. The 3.6 is rev happy with the 6 speed keeping it in the power band, and surprisingly even with me beating on it, the gas mileage was great (vs my GXP of course). For the money I'd get the LTZ if I was in the market for a new car.

The Camaro?

And yes @ Nixon it had 22k miles and was a GXP and 18k is not bad a for a 5.3 V8 car.

Ill make a new thread sometime later on to see which cars i can ask you guys what you guys think of the cars. ill do some research and see later on. thanks for all your guys help.

He's talking about the impala.

We too got one when my moms jeep had a transfer case leak covered under warranty. Its an okay car, but that motor is just terrible with all the problems they have with em.

...Not bad?

It's an awful price.

Car MAY be worth 13k.

Impala. My fiancee has a 10' Camaro and I don't like driving it. unusual amount of blind spots, and the interior is boring and blan IMO.

So you say no to new mustang v6 because it's coup but yes to camaro v6 haha.

Of course its a camaro.

Yes the camaro has tons of blind spots and the back window is half the size of my GP had.

I dont think ill ge tthe camaro or the impala, but i kinda for soe reson i want the GXP GP. Maybe because of the sound of that V8.

Wow I paid 14,900 for my 08 GXP in January with 43k on it. GM certified, bumper to bumper warranty 100k or 2015. Be patient in your search.

Just wanted to ask is the 2008 Malibu LTZ a good DD and to mod? Does it have a good Aftermarket support?

Google for moding. If you see a lot of stuff then sure. But I have never heard of modding them. Dd they are really cool cars. Good mileage, not a complete turd. Should have paddle shifters so at least you can feel fast haha.

Thats what i thought but i think this one is a 3.6 VVT engine were as the impala has a 3.9 VVT. I dont know much of the aftermarket support thats why i asked, if anyone else has ifo it be much appreciated until then il keep researching. Thanks again

I think the Impala has the 3.6 as well. The 3.9 you are thinking of is the 3900 and I think that thing's been gone for a while.

I Just looked it up and ya it is a 3.6, so is that good or not? Is that engine good for modding, if there are mods, and as a DD and for every now and then racing it one the street if some one pulls up for it.

Also i looked up the HHR SS and it has the 2.0 LNF engine from the cobalt, are they good too? The automatic not the manual.
