because if i dont plan on intercooling the NIC cam makes a more power and allows small pulleys....

if i go intercooled id prob go rockered with a ported gen3 and FSIC

those are completely different setups. like....WAY different. you cannot compare them in any fashion.

so i was saying shoudl i go big cam with a better blower or gen 3 rocker'd and IC'd? what am i missing>?

you dont realize those setups are vastly different in how they will perform and how they will run. a NIC setup will NOT be good as a daily driver and unless you know how to tune and have a wideband then youre going to be ****ed. cam or not, an intercooler is a good idea. the only reason a NIC can run such small pullies without an intercooler is because of the stupid amount of overlap that it has. you HAVE TO run small pullies in order to keep boost levels up. its not necessarily a good choice for a cam in any situation.

therefore we are back at this situation: do you want to run a cam or not? how fast do you REALLY want to go?

ok thanks for clearing that up for me....considering that this is a DD car that i want to be a 12 sec DD then i will just go rocker'd and IC'd....the more i think about it thats prob the best setup for me...thanks bio
 


vogel had a stupid amount of custom parts and weight reduction. you have to take what he did with a grain of salt. he only ran 12.11.
 


Well i will be running one here real soon just have to finish it up. I think its gonna be just fine. You can go with what you want, you know the pricing.
 
Logan. Put it on your car and make it work. Enough with the selling it and "seeing" if it works or not.

As for the OP.

Just get a S1X or XP and a S2IC from ZZP along with #42.5's and get it tuned.
