as the title says. ive done alot of work 2 it, its running perfect with no issues and ive been thinking of getting rid of it, honestly dont know y. i guess im crazy. please any1, convince me not 2.

^Well you didn't help much...

Don't sell it! Especially since it's running great. What else would you drive if you were to sell it? Would it be as much fun/comfortable?

i have no place in this thread to tell you to keep it. they are a great starter platform, but dont perform for the money you put into them.

if your thinking of selling it then that means you lost interest in it..so why have us convince you to keep a car you wouldnt mind getting rid of? just a thought

Nothing says reliable like a car you know everything about, new cars arent as much because you never know whats going to happen. I'd say keep it cause you know like others here, your going to regret getting rid of it.

I only know one person who still has thier car from HS, he graduated in 86 by the way. And the car looks as if it came right out of the showroom, 1980 Cultlass Supreme 2 dr with a 305 auto. Im only guessing the mileage is in the low 80K's, but don't quote me on that. It spends it's life in the garage, and his kid can't touch it... LOL!

^^ he has a point, I knew my old monte was perfect and could trust to drive it anywhere, but I sold it for a fireturd, drove it for about a month before it spun a bearing, and I coudn't it sell for decent money so I had no ride for the whole summer. But if it's a risk that you want to take.......

i think it would be pretty cool to have a bada$$ w-body in like 15years. I'd venture to say by then it will be really hard to find a 97-03 gp in good condition. Not that it will be worth anything, but it would still be cool to pull it out of the garage and smoke some people.

After your car has helped you through so much... you would turn your back on it and sell it.. oh man that's cold lol j/k

I don't know man, if you could find something as comfortable/affordable/fast as yours for a decent amount of money, I don't see why not. But I don't like putting work into something just to sell it. I would keep it until it dies on me.. but that's just me. And if you don't get something as fast as your GP and you get smoked by a GP? Man then you'll really miss it.

I say do NOT sell it. You put work into it not to sell but to enjoy.

if you get what you want for it no use in keeping it
People grow out of their cars loose intrest and move on
I have had over 47 cars in my life liked most of them but grew out of them

If someone offered me what i have invested in mine or even 1/2 id probably sell to get a new toy and start over and do it all again...

On the other hand i know the car like the back of my hand now so and no ones going to pay what i want for it so i will have mine until it dies and i rebuid it again and one of my daughters gets it
