Hello box chevy. the boat seafoamed vid/new pix pg 4

Re: Bye bye gp.... Hello box chevy..

I'd run 15's on it with meaty tires that's what i ran on my el camino but i had 14's up front. Looked damn good like it's supposed to. If your wanting to go fast you'll have to run 15's for slicks. You'll need quite a bit of work to get that thing into the 13's. Suspension work first.

plans are 327 or bigger small block.. alumn heads alumn intake.. 650-850 carb... big cam.. either blown or n20 for fun.. ford 9in rear end.. coil overs all the way around... possible ladder bar... ..and 22's... not goin to be a track car... but if it comes down to it i will track it................... if i dont sell it first

Re: Bye bye gp.... Hello box chevy..

msd ign... upgraded axles dangenbear trans case.... i mean i got resources to these things.. just need to find out if imma keep it or not

Re: Bye bye gp.... Hello box chevy..

does the engine it has now have a 4 barrel carb? if so flip the top of the air filter cover, and let the sounds of that quadra bog out.

that carb aint all that bad for what it is, very small primary's and huge ass secondary's that just dump gas into the motor.

Re: Bye bye gp.... Hello box chevy..

flip the cover, its like open cone lol. its louder then you'd think it would be, only when you nail it tho.

Re: Bye bye gp.... Hello box chevy..

well for one.. being that its not fwd and the power from motor to tranny can move 22's like gps move 16's.. and helll 22's isnt nothin compared what ive seen.... 24's-28's on chevys with smaller setup im thinking of doing runnin 12-13.5 seconds in the 1/4...

Lol I know it has the ability to move them.. But chrome 22's add a lot of unsprung weight. Put 22's on then throw in a 327 and bolt ons.. Good luck getting 12-13sec 1/4 you might realize quick that you need smaller rims/tires to run those times

Re: Bye bye gp.... Hello box chevy..

dont get me wrong.. i know its not gon be omg so dam fast.. but hell i would be somethign to have fun and beat up on some of everything.. and even tho im on 22's if i was to track it.. i would drop to stock rims.. just for the simple fact.. if something go wrong.. i wont fcuk up a rim.. lol..
