• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

had a local here by me who had 8-11º kr no matter what i did to the tune, then found it had kr in park revved up. and no kr driven with no sc belt or revved in park

. he went to a gen 5 blower and no more kr.

and no, we didnt hear a damn thing inside the blower car running, but once it was off the engine you could see and feel the play.

if you read any of anything, this is in park, revving it. tq is not a issue here dummy. a bad blower is. cause your not making any boost revving it in park are ya?

You should make boost in park if you rev it fast enough. If a turbo car will make boost in park, why wouldn't an m90.

Also, don't take everything as a personal insult. You are not the king know it all with these cars and neither am I. Put your ego aside and try to play nice.

or a beat up blower. you cant make more then a pound or 2 in park, cause theres no load on it, so no boost. turbo,,,,,its not the same thing.

never seen a coupler cause kr.

being this guys on 116 fuel and has kr in park, id lean towards a bad blower. time to find another one. can you upgrade to a gen 5? thats like a pulley upgrade. should get a pound or 2 more from it.

Loose couplers can cause kr. Just like loose bearings. I'm just suggesting the cheaper and easier possible solution.

If you can only build a couple pounds of boost in park, you have problems. And, you're right. A turbo car is different. It will build less boost in park due to lag.

its the wearable part in the snout between the snout and rotor gears, 50 dollar fix, take sc belt off, snap the pulley left and right feeling for a click or slop or play when snapped back the other way.

if thats tight feeling its the blower bearings for sure.

Running the od balancer is the only way you can make more boost without swapping the super charger pulley.

These are what we are talking about. Adding an overdrive balancer to a stock car is roughly equivalent to adding a 3.7" pulley to the supercharger.
If you do go with the od balancer I highly recommend that you get the oil neck spacer, on my 97 I had maybe 3mm between the balancer and the oil filter housing, I even had to dent my oil filter to keep it from hitting the balancer. On my 2001 the balancer hit the oil filter housing so I had to use the adapter on that.

dont think you'll make it that fast with the restrictions on you. your looking at a mid 14's car likely with no mods other then a tune.
