GXP Wheels

Ur fight 225 is stock on the rear...I still think 245 would fit the rears ..and u could do 245 all around. Someone else with more knowledge on tires should chime in
 


Im not 100% sure on this but wheel wells may be different sizes on his GP compared to your GXP. That would mean he would need to run a different size tire to make it fit.
 
The **** is going on in here.

Yes the rims are 18x8 and 18x7.

Tires are 255/40 and 225/45 from the factory.

There is no way in hell you could ever fit 275's all the way around without having tons of issues.

Its a more simple idea to run the same size tire all the way around for cost wise and if you wanted to ATLEAST rotate the tires side to side. If the 18x7 go up front it might look a tad off with the rims being smaller by a little bit.

The reason for rotating is strictly for tire wear, it has nothing to do with an alignment, it doesnt matter if you do have a 3 year alignment thingy from firestone, that still has nothing to do with tire wear from lack of rotation. Tires on the front always wear quicker because the tires do more than just follow the leader.

And for 100 bucks thats a steal, they are worth that in scrap metal. If you want them, buy them and just run 245/45/18 all the way around. Its not going on a real gxp so buying different tire sizes in not needed.
 
Lmfao we weren't talking about 275's all the way around...we were about 245's all the way around. And i keeping the car well aligned helps tire wear if I'm not mistaken

Yeah, having a good alingment reduces tire wear, but that doesnt matter because if you never rotate the fronts will always wear quicker and the rears will always get inside edge wear from the stock camber settings.
 
The concept is the same ffdp bigger wheels up front smaller in rear. 245 will work all around if you choose that option

Why would it looks a tad off in the front and not the rear just out of curiosity?

How is the offset on these wheels? Will they stick out a little more than torque stars cuz they kinda recess into the wheel well.

Would you run 245/45/18 all the way around.

I'm only gonna be running these in the summer. I don't put that many miles on. What if I didn't care if they were all the same size. What would you recommend? Is my speedo gonna be accurate enough?

Can anyone help me out? With 245/45-18 def fit on an 18x7? Some people have been saying its to big and 225 is about all your can do.

I currently have 245 on the rear wheel with no problems whatsoever. Its been that way since I've owned my gxp
 
so you think 245 all the way around would work? is it stretched on the front wheel (18x8)

it'll work fine.

i run a 225/40 on my 18x8.5s and there isn't really any stretch and it helps me to tuck.

and we've all run 245/50/16s on the stock 16x6.5 wheels, so 245s will easily fit on the 7"ers.
 
I would dip those for sure. I did my junkyard Bonneville rims 3 months ago black with a mist of silver metalizer they are holding up great and look awesome.
