GTP vs GT 500(with video)

Nice, I like how you back up your races with videos. Looks like you guys have some organized street racing going on up there. You guys ever get busted?
 


lol well untill this summer i had never really raced....one kid introduced me to flint which is 20 mins away from me i was there every weekend night usually raced at least x2 a night.....i never got busted i try to be as smart as possible.....but people drink and **** in flint those are the people who get busted cops usually push it out every hour but there's to many cars for them to do anything. last night in Detroit i seen a cobalt ss get pulled over racing a turboed civic the cop said hey make sure you guys make sure its clear before you race and left....the cops don't want to deal with it. its in the ghetto they value there life's too....the one night to state boys sat there and were telling us were good to go.......


as for the videos thats just something i like to do no one else does it.....as far as i am concerned with out video didn't happen.....thats just me tho.....i still like to read kill stories tho

Problem with ANY powerful mustang is hooking. Hell, a bone stock GT500 will run right with a C6 Z06 if it has a slick on the back.
 




Oh ok that make sense. Ya definately is a good build... Makes my decision even harder between modding my gtp and getting a CBR...hmmm decisions decisions
 
ill admit i bought it...i had the ***** retuned its a good tune but safe so im not blowin **** this winter or when ever i sell my gt.....its getting it all gen 5 e85 cam valve train bigg injectors and maybe some spray:) thats what i have in mind any way l26 bottom end

Sounds good..if i mod the gtp itll get basically everything you have but probably a cam instead of rockers and the stage 3 ic instead of 2 like you have.(EDIT: I mustve read the stage 2 IC in someone else's sig picture and not yours). Maybe e-85 since I live like a mile from a station and theyre also building a refinary like 20 minutes away so it should be pretty cheap since they dont have to ship it that far.
 
This thread is a reminder of why I'm not a huge fan of the Mustang. I almost see more Mustangs than Grand Prixs on the road -- it's ridiculous.
 


nice kill and i rand a gt500 with my gp when i was stock n/a at the track the shelby gt500 whent 12.40 with bad launch and i also raced a reg gt500 at the track it did 12.50 with a good launch i think it was a 2008
