yayaya down in detroit gt500 talked a big game but failed we ran 2x same result....gtp win:) he was not a happy camper his little group was so concered with why i had drag radials and i had to pop truck to prove no spray.....

i ran a 09 gt also he wanted to through some cash i came home with $40 more.....friend didnt save video pulled him a bout 2 cars......you shouda heard these black people talkin it was funny"idc what you do to a v6 is still a v6........my v8 mustang will walk that grand prix":th_nanana:
 


driver mod or he's toying with you.

a 500 hp car doesnt lose to a 350 hp car.... (280*1.25, based on your readings from the dynojet which are higher than they really are, so i'll be nice here...)

Better yet, it runs high 11's and your car is good for high 12's? no competition there.

Actually, the Mustang doesn't really like to hook up. I needed 315's on my 03 Cobra to make it usable on the street, and it was worse with mods. High 11's, not happening. Mid to high 12's are more the norm. Given that the GTP was running DR's, I'm really not that surprised at the outcome.

Right, like a mustang driver is gonna let himself get beat by a grandma car.
 
So even with no grip the GT500 runs the quarter in 12.8 seconds and in your sig if i read it right your car ran 12.95 with Drag Radials? So even with a bad launch from the GT500 and an awesome launch drag strip worthy from you the GT500 would have still won.

So apparently that GT500 needs a driver mod badly. Anyway, nice kill
 


solid. i was just on that side of town two nights ago.

also a good spot is french rd on the east side has quite a few people hanging out on the weekends. i was down there with my buddy in his 04 cobra and stomped the lot. that thing got wrecked, but his motor/tranny are going in a 91.
 
thats cool ya i dont go down there much im usually by flint on the weekends. but the guy who tunes for me is down there and i go and hang out with him everynow and then. they just got ths one kids car back together running a 2.5 pully with the underdrive pully changed so it was like a 2.3 cam e85 gen 3 stage 4 heads but it kept over heating spins them through 3rd...gp was nasty but overheated like 21212 times.....so never really got to see her rip
 


well later the night when a guy wanted to race for 40 in his gt......and i won that was nice paid for my gas that night lol

I get them from either C&D, Autoweek (whom I work for) or any of my local car friends.

And the brand new GT, with the 5.0 (not the 4.6 mod motor) makes 412 HP, runs 13.2@109 as per Road & Track. The GT500 for 2011 makes 540. Chances are he ran an 09, which made 500.

Also, the Shelby GT500 Super Snake (which makes 605 HP/590 TQ) ran [email protected] and weighs in at 3915 lbs. Porker.
