• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

gas mileage

i run 93 because its all over here lol

i can also get cam2 102 or 106, i think it is they sell. race fuel baby.

i should try some of that out someday, i bet you can feel it. i did when i put it in my 70 firebird.

I get 16.5-17mpg on my 1999 GTP which is horrible. I really do wish there was a way to up my mpg to at least 22-24mpg.

I wonder if replacing the wires, plugs, fuel filters, injectors etc would help at all? I don't drive too aggressively at all, in fact.

^^ think urs is bad?, i still get 15.3 on my N/A..... still dont got a clue y, im guessing bad sensor cause it dont seem that bad

you still haven't got that fixed? i have a brand new sensor laying around here some where if i can find it ill sell it to you if you want

man im a broke mofo, to many payments to make i needs my 2nd job, and i dont even know if its the sensor im just assuming since it doesnt look like i get 15.2 even tho its telling me

Just do the test yourself at the gas station next time you fill up. My GTP tells me that I'm getting 17.2mpg while I'm only getting 16.6 (when I measure it myself) And yes, I do think it's really bad considering the car is not even "that" fast. My beautiful 1991 Firebird 350 V8 N/A with 400HP was getting about 15mpg and was at least twice as fast. So yes... I am frustrated to say the least.

If you drive only city, 16-19 is pretty much on par with what a gtp gets.

I drive 5 miles round trip to work and have summer college 2 days a week thats 26 miles round trip right there, and do other random driving within town. I fill up about every 15 days and my avg is always right at 16-18 mpgs, and that with like 230-250 miles to that tank.

Whats Your Average MPG right now?

This is geared towards those with a DIC that wil display your average miles per gallon, but if you have an older model and did out the math, feel free to post your findings...

Mine is a 2004 GT2 with almost 220k
My average MPG is 26.2
