Seriously, though, this is like people who come on forums asking what they should do about this weird rash they have (A: go to a real doctor); Don't ask us, man. Most of us don't even live in your state. Call the freakin' Justice/Judge/Whatever who's number is on the subpoena and ask. They'll be nice to you, I promise. Nicer than the Internet, in any case.

Also, you can't get in trouble for telling someone to lie. Hell, she probably doesn't even remember.

I would assume it's the witness' choice on whether or not to show up... they've got better **** to do than come looking for you as a witness for an obvious case.

Haha i got her on myspace, i let my friend have her since i have a gf, i just told him to send any naked pics he gets of her, i guess she has a douche bag bf, that explains why she was driving a mustang lol. On her myspace pics she has a entire album of just her mustang and it says my baby underneath the album hahahaha, it was interesting listening to the motor crap out over time while it was still running almost upside down, the motor sounded weaker and weaker and then the fire department put something in the tailpipe to snuff out the motor.

Slow you are right, i just wanted to see if there was knowledgable people on here that would know if there was any way i could get out of it, before i had to call the court.

I have to go i guess or i will have a warrant for my arrest which is stupid because i'm the person who saved the girl thats it.

i really dont think a cop is going to think you were trying to help out some random stranger by lying. Most people would have no reason to. They have no proof there was an animal or not. It was night and you could have seen anything.

You really shouldnt have lied though. Women always have a way of complicating things.. especially the pretty, cute ones. You need to be stronger next time

you can call the township or city it happened and give a written statement and have it noterized and not have to go to court.

No and the main reason why i made this post is because i wanted to know if there was any way out of going so i dont have to drive 3hrs and waste gas and waste a days pay at work.

I was in a similar situation, same drive time to the court -- I called the court and told them it would be a hardship to travel that far. they arranged for me to testify over the phone. might give that a try since you'll probably be asked 3 questions.
 
I aked if i could give a written statment but i can't. I have to call back tomorrow because they might settle before the court date. I will see if i can do it over the phone when i call tomorrow.
 
just tell them your car is broken and you have no way to get there.... tell them you drive a grand prix. they will believe you.
