DNA springs... yep i said it

So if I bought a set and sold them for like $200 you'd be all over them?

If I break one of these springs I will be the first to let everyone know...but since there is many other people that have and are still using them without issue I think I will be ok...I am very pleased with how they sit they don't lower the rear as much which is awesome because I hate springs that sage in the rear...the ride is pretty darn close to how my stock comp g springs rode...I have not had any issues with pogo...I have a touch of axle vibration at WOT but pretty sure u have that no matter what springs you go with...but yes there should be no hatting on these springs...if you don't like them don't buy them!
 
Lol i obviously would do research, but $80? Sketch in my book. If some no name company offered a can tune for $20 on eBay, would you buy it? Same principles, basic safety.

If I bought that $20 tune and 6 other people on here did also with great results you would still not try it because its $20? Are you saying Speed Daddy headers are sketch because they are made by some ebay company and they don't cost $700 like the ZZP ones do?

Of course zzp ones are way better there is alot of RD behind them...but if you want something cheaper Speed daddy works just fine for people...for me and some other people DNA springs are working just fine...just trying to let people know my results so they can make there own decision on these springs

As for the tune umm how about a few people that have HPT or DHP from this site or CGP or 3800pro or GPONA that actually know how to tune a 3800 start selling tunes? I'd bet my ass that someone thats been around these cars could sell tunes and people would buy them they dont have to say look at me look at me I own a business to be reputable!
 
Why do you care so much about my opinion? Just because I don't want to run it doesn't mean you shouldn't. I'm not quite sure why your so upset 98.

Your safety doesn't hinge on the quality of your headers though.
 
the reason i dont trust these springs is the simple fact that they are literally too cheap to be anywhere within spec. i guarantee the springs are way different from one another from corner to corner. springs are expensive because they are tested and if they dont meet tolerances they ARENT SOLD. these things are also such a waste of money considering they barely lower the car. they are also a lower, linear spring which makes them close to stock. they match well for stock struts because they arent that much of an increase in spring rate, if any at all. all of the 'good' brands are progressive and a pretty substantial increase in spring rate from stock.

improperly balanced springs mean you'll have an improperly balanced car. this means it'll handle like **** when you actually push it around corners. i also have $10 says these things sag like a mofo in 2 years.

by all means, run the cheap springs if that is what you want to do. no one is stopping you. i just like voicing my opinions about how there would never be a set of these on my car because of what i listed above.

so my opinion is that these springs blow. that is all.
 
I never said the springs blow,I just don't know enough about them to make that assumption but if bio says it I believe it. I'm glad a few other people see it the way I do. Again I'm not saying you shouldn't because I wouldn't, but don't flame me because I don't believe there can be a thoroughly tested quality controlled spring that cost $80. Of course the springs could be fine. I'm not going to be that guy that finds out.
 
Never heard of mass production or china? hmm both do wonders for lowering costs and your if bio says it I believe it is exactly why I was giving you hell earlier so the gods of this forums deem them no good? Yet go ask those that have which will have pretty much nothing bad to say about them. Btw I'll bet that pretty much everyone on this fourm has parts from China on there car.
The idea of cheap just absolutly has to = poor cracks me up in this thread.

LOL this thread is getting real funny...If you think these springs blow thats your opinion and thats fine I don't really care...this thread is merely informative for the people willing to give these springs a chance...so far they are doing ok and when I have a issue even if its 2 years from now I will let people know

it's all about quality control, which cheap chinese mass producers DO NOT HAVE.

I voiced my opinion so did someone whos opinion that I trust. Am I the only one who likes reassurance? No.
Whats with the nit-picking? Get a day job, you need less free time
 
Come on guys calm down none of this is personal everyone is just sharing there opinion...bio thinks these are crap and I'm ok with it doesn't hurt my feelings he makes a good point about chinese parts...but right now im ok with testing out these springs...I didn't want a slammed dd and these springs have the drop I was looking for
