nice! how far do you plan on going with it?
Honestly, probably not much more.
Working on a limited budget and I have other things that are more important.
Really no desire to make it go fast, I'd get in trouble.
Maybe when it's paid off wheels or something, but that would probably be it.
Highly doubt on lowering it, due to roads I travel.
Nicely done like always. A shift kit helps prolong the trans. If you keep the car long enough you can do it at the next pan drop.
Here is a tip if you choose to change your own oil. Turn the wheel to access the filter. Get a pie dish and put it under the filter. That will capture the oil from the filter. Also look into a synthetic oil that you can run longer like amsoil or mobile 1 extended performance so you don't have to change it over the winter.
Thanks!
How hard is the shift kit to do?
This was my first experience of doing anything under the hood, short of checking fluids.
Props to Bill for guiding me and answering some stupid questions this afternoon!
Idk if it'd be smart to turn the wheel while on ramps? I'm not sure if my dad has jack stands hiding somewhere.
Is it safe to run synthetics if its never had them before? Car as 118k on it now.
I've heard good things about the amsoil and moible 1, so I wouldn't be worried doing either of those.
