• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Crazy Taz and his wire tuck.

so i picked up a complete wire harness out of a parts car last week and tonight I started going over it cutting stuff and fighting with it... but I figured some stuff out for what I want to do and tommorrow my plan is to run the wires for the stuff I'm moving and delete the window washer bottle I figure I never use it because I refuse to so why keep it... also I was thinking about where I'm going to move the coil packs...

Idk where I'll put them yet but I'm going to do some research on plug wire length and its affects... so I should have some pics up tomorrow night I hope

wires should be an issue for length, just make sure you use the same gauges really.. i mean if its 10million times longer then stock, then maybe.. but doubtful

If you plan on top swapping its going to be a little challenge to move the coil packs because one of the idler pullies for the SC belt is on the coil pack bracket. So you either need to use zzp's SSM90 pulley set up or make a custom idler pulley.

It would be cool to run some kind of custom pulley set up and have the coils in the back somewhere...but it also looks clean stock if you route the wires right.

Do you think I could get the wire need to run the battery from lowes or the like?
I'd like to not have to take things apart a hundred times so it would be nice to run some wires while I have stuff apart today

Check out a thread on the other forum by Janice. Matt did an awesome job deleting stuff and hiding wires. I will see if I can find it.

so I didn't think untill after I got everything apart what about the washer fluid sensor? am I going to be stuck with an annoying light on if I tear this thing out?

also do you think I could conver the washer fluid bottle into a coolant resivore?

is there a diffrence between a coolant resivor and a coolant overflow?

also do you think drilling some holes in my stb and running a few wires through there would compromise it's strength very much?

anybody on the coolant thing? I should be able to just run the line to what used to be the window washer fluid and put coolant in it right? it should still be able to draw from that when the system creates a vaccum
